The food was not fresh , my marisco soup was a packet of knorr marisco soup with 6 tiny croutons floating and some strange bits of unidentifiables My husbands prawns and lula were dry and tough so and probably reheated on grill from lunchtime as we were first sitters in the evening . An experience never to be repeated The staff were friendly and polite

Good food - fast service.

I hate to say that, my experience eating here was a joke; not mentioning about the price being extremely unreasonable, the quality of every dish ( cooking technic and freshness of material ) was terrible.

The food was very good. A little expensive but the portion was very good. The servers did not speak English at all but we were able to get by with my horrible Portuguese. One spoke a very little bit of English. The service was very fast for Portugal and I liked that they served the soup of the day directly at your table. Seems a nice touch

Good Quality Fish. Exterior dining area could have some improvement. Quality experience nonetheless

Two of our guest suffered severe stomach cramps and were nauseous all night following dinner. Also, on this cold night we were bluntly told dining inside was no option (for anyone!) and we were directed to a windy spot outside. Waiter had to be explained our order three (!) times in Portuguese (!) notably.

Everything was great!

The fact that the seafood is not in rodízio, as expected from the brand “baia do peixe”, made the experience awkward. The communication of how the seafood menu works isn’t clear in the menu nor in the website.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Maresia. The food was excellent- I had a seafood platter and my wife had the roasted octopus. I tried some octopus (not something I would normally do) and it was very good- not at all the usual rubbery texture. It was quite tender in fact. We tried the soup of the day as well (vegetable soup on our day). Like everything else, it was minimally salted, letting the natural flavors come through. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Nice setting in historical buildings which is bull fighting ring. Still active. Pros: great quick service, simple to read and understand menu, lots of seas food and fish choices. We order mix fish platter for 2 people. Comes with tomatoes salad and green salad , plus boiled potatoes. Everything was tasty and delicious. Cons: Order came to quickly to be “ made to order “. Fish mast be prepared in advance or kept warm. Plater age was chocked. In general , I would recommend this restaurant.

+2We were expecting a seafood buffet or even just a few top up, however, once we sat down, we were told that the restaurant changed owner and no longer do refills. We ordered the most expensive platter for two and the portion was too small.

Baía do Peixe provides a decent seafood dining experience with a variety of options on the menu, especially if you’re interested in trying a bit of everything through their ‘rodízio de marisco.’ The seafood is fresh, though some dishes could benefit from more seasoning and flavor. The atmosphere is pleasant, with nice views that enhance the experience, but service can be a bit inconsistent during peak times. Prices are fair for what you get, but don’t expect an exceptional culinary experience. It’s a solid choice for a casual meal, especially if you enjoy seafood without too many frills.

Overpriced and underwheming. The place and the food is mediocre. Service was bland. I don't expect paper napkins when paying 30 plus €'s. Better food and the small mom and pop restaurants around the park. Would not eat there again.

Overall, it was a good experience. We enjoyed the oysters, crabs, and shrimps, but didn’t like the mussels and thought the clams were too salty. My sister ordered the fish AYCE. She liked the salmon and the soup. She thought the other fish were a touch too dry. Maybe it should have come with melted butter, olive oil, or some kind of sauce. We will recommend this place to friends.

Terrible service, had four waiters and none of them new what was going on at our table, delivered meals that didn’t belong to our table, drop the ordered plates to the wrong location at the table, waiters left after delivered the meals and didn’t come back to see if we needed anything else, we even had to get up and go find someone to give us our bill after 2 hours of waiting: it was total BS

We chose a table outside. We were given one right next to the glass which serves as a windshield. Above it was a tent which was banging our heads all the time because it was not properly secured. The first plate with the fish was average both in taste and presentation, but the second was overcooked, dry and tasteless! The service although friendly, was a bit slow. Almost no one spoke English! At the end, what you pay is what you get!

We had a great time, and the seafood platter was delicious as was the chocolate cake & cheesecake we had for dessert. Price was reasonable, but the service was top notch. It is definitely family friendly, and the boss helped to carry the pram (with my daughter on board) up the stairs.
