10/10The food was terrific. Especially the pizza. Finally a place that didnt over cook the crust. Cannot say enough about the staff. They were attentive, kind , helpful. We even came back a 2nd time. Was happy it ended without them saying the tip is not included. Something that happened the previous night elsewhere……….

6.5/10Perhaps it was because they were busy, but our experience was disappointing. Every place can have a bad night, but I was sorry that my last meal in Florence was not fantastic. The spinach and ricotta gnudi were delicious, but the portion was small. Everything else was just bland, and even the pinot grigio was off. As we were leaving, a friendly man asked how everything was, but it was too late to do anything but smile and say fine. I feel our experience may have been better if we'd had a different waiter as ours seemed impatient, too busy, not very helpful.

6/101. The proprietor runs the place like a New York boss. 2. Not like other restaurants where the table is yours for the evening. Almost like they want you in and out. 3. They didn’t have the wine listed in their limited wine list and 4. The food is so-so. We had fried chicken and rabbit. Pretty much like chicken McNuggets.

8/10Food was good and staff was very friendly. A bit confusing the fact that I've booked for this restaurant but the table we got was in the next door restaurant (with different signboard) The staff explained that the 2 restaurants decided to join forces and work as one.

8.5/10Tasty food with great attentive service. Slightly expensive for what you actually get due to the exchange rate. Very nice to receive a small glass of Prosecco on arrival complimentary. Lovely setting outside.

9.5/10Friendly service. Really helpful staff. Food was delicious. Husband had the fresh fish which was boned at the table. I had spaghetti with prawns. We were treated to a glass of rose Prosecco gratis to begin. Meals + 1 wine and 1 coke + coffees came to about €68 but we got 20% booking on line discount. Very reasonable even without the discount. Thank you Baldovino!

8/10The staff were friendly and attentive. We were greeted with a glass of Prosseco, which was a very nice touch. The menu was plentiful and the food fresh and very tasty!

8.5/10Our server was fantastic. Attentive and had great recommendations. We had the smoked salmon with cheese appetizer that was great. The wine that was recommended was so good we ordered a bottle to go. The salmon as the main entree was good but not great. The homemade pasta with sea food was phenomenal. Overall a great experience!! The lemon cello at the end of dinner capped off our night!

10/10We were referred to Baldovino by a friend and were not let down! It was an unexpected treat as it exceeded all expectations! Awesome value, awesome service and awesome food, would definitely recommend. I think this place is seriously underrated on trip advisor and yelp.

10/10The mixed seafood pasta was spectacular as was our sons florentine steak,the waiter was welcoming helpful and animated abd the atmosphere was wobderful.Our first time back after 18 years and still as good, no better.Well done!

6.5/10When we entered this restaurant we were not at all sure we'd made a good decision to have lunch here. It was very warm and crowded with cruise ship passengers on a tour. We asked if there were somewhere cooler and Sara showed us to another room where air conditioning was working well and we were the only people until a large party arrived some time later. Sara was excellent, explaining the menu and answering our questions - all with a smile and a great sense of humour. The food was good, especially the chocolate cake and we enjoyed Sara's wine suggestions. It turned out to be a good choice after all.

9.5/10Nice restaurant. Very friendly welcome. Attentive and professional waiters. The food was very tasty and aesthetically served. However after we finished the main course, we were neglected, as if they lost interest in us. No waiter approached our table anymore, though we waited for quite a long period, not to mention that we waited to be offered some desert. Finally, only after I had to get up from my seat and ask for the check (twice!) we got the check, paid and left without desert getting short of time. Pitty! Promissed discount was included in the check.

10/10Located on a quiet street to the side of Santa Croce, the place was popular but quiet. We had a wonderful meal. The service was attentive and friendly. The fish was so fresh--I chose it from the ice. It was a wonderful evening and we highly recommend Baldovino!
