It was good overall. The quality of gril could be improved. The starter was nice.

The ambiance was really old school gave me a positive vibe and enjoyed alot today i went alone but I didn’t felt alone because of the vibe of restaurant and also how tasty and yum was that grilled dinner. Over all a good experience

Super gezellig plek op de oudegracht. Lekker eten. Super cozy place at canal level. Food was really good, only comment is would prefer leaf lettuce over iceberg lettuce. Staff was really nice - not everyone speaks Dutch.

It’s my second time visiting this restaurant, and I’m sure it won’t be the last! It has a cozy and warm ambiance with an open-kitchen view. The food was nicely grilled just as i asked for. Also, the staff was very helpful and kind :)

Good food. Boro platter nice portions. chicken schnitzel among the best locally. pork filet very tender. steak not so much. good kofte sausage. desserts are ice only... in 8 ways. Not impressive. Seats were to small for a big man. (strange for balkan) Terrace is slanted uncomfortably.

Nice location by the water, very friendly service. Food was fine, but nothing extra special. Worth the visit if you are around.

Great food, delicious meat and each main course comes with fries, a small salad and a small portion of rice and sauerkraut ❤️ and a delicious tomato sauce! The service was a bit chaotic but it was a busy evening as well. Would come back to tried the grilled fish! Location is also fantastic, of course

Food was edible, but for the price I would expect a bit more care put into it. Seems like shortcuts are taken wherever possible. Starting from tiny servings of bread along a big platter of food (had to order extra bread multiple times) really makes you feel that the restaurant is skimping out on the most basic bread you’ve seen. And that’s basically the theme recurring throughout the meal. Very average meats, the chicken was good, pork and tiny beef cut really tough. Did not taste particularly Balkan either. The location is nice but that’s not sufficient when the highlight of the restaurant is their aioli. Not coming back here, I hope they do better cause this feels like waste of potential. There are many better alternatives in this price range.

Good, somewhat pricey food. The vegetarian dish missed a few of the ingredients. The side dishes are very tasty. The starters are probably the best/most special.

The food was pretty good but I don't think they have enough people to service the amount of tables they have. The restaurant itself is very big so we found ourselves waiting a lot. Just keep in mind you'll probably spend 3 hours at dinner there

We took a table outside. Nice place . Good service despite the fact that we waited a little bit more but it was the time and also a lot of people. The food was good concerning the quality and quantity. We will definitely return.

Such a lovely location, right on the canal and very central, but away from the busy part of the city. It was so nice to be able to sit outside under the large umbrellas. When it started to rain, we were given blankets so we could remain looking at the boats come by. It wasn't very busy when we were there, but the service had some gaps. The food was copious, but I don't recommend the fish, they were very dry. I did enjoy the explanation of the different choices and it was a nice evening overall.

The lovely location and long history of this establishment couldn’t redeem the low quality of ingredients and lack of passion. We didn’t even finish our food. Service was friendly but slow despite the place being empty. Instead of discounts this restaurant should offer decent food that doesn’t put the Balkans to shame.

Meat and fries were excellent. Thought the amount of meat is a bit disappointing in regards to price. Sauce is definitely pre-made from the can. Overall is okay, but nothing special in comparison to Balkan restaurants.

Great home-made wine, perfect location, affordable prices. Can hardly find a better place for a glass of wine along the channel. Note the entrance sign, it's not easy to find!

Lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere by a canal. A beautiful setting for a restaurant. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive which is a difficult balance. Four of us chose a mix of dishes. We were delighted with plates of tasty food which were well presented. You really must have a sweet.

Good food in a cosy setting, and friendly staff. Visited on Monday in autumn (end of October). Slightly disappointed that the menu offers fewer Romanian dishes than we hoped for.
