9/10The food is good, specially the pork cheek! Even the mashed potatoes were amazing, The only downside was that the card terminal was not working that day so we had to pay by cash and that we weren't informed of the special offers/happy hour offers.

10/10We visited pre show so only had an hour but the excellent food came quickly and we made our deadline. Loved the ambiance of the place too. Between us we had the burger and shrimp risotto and sea bass. All were fantastic! Highly recommended.

5/10Last year on the same date we went to this place and we loved it. This year? I don’t no what happened but it was not the same. Service was “strange” and without real attention. Taking your plate away before you was ready, etcetera. Not once but every time. It got kind of funny. The food was mwah…tasteless while promising ingredients on the menu. Very small portions. 10/10Great little restaurant in the heart of the old town. I had the pork cheeks and glass of red wine which were both delicious! It’s a little more pricey than some places but worth it. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

9.5/10Delicious food and nice presentation. We had olives, bread, salted butter, quacamole, and risotto. All were delish! The service was a little slow, but picked up as more waiters came on shift. We would definitely go back. They have a chorizo that cooks at your table that looks dramatically good!

2/10I am surprised by so many positive reviews for this restaurant. It was definitely the worst meal I have had in Lagos this trip. I don’t have anything positive to say about my experience. We ordered a variety of tapas and all was pretty poor. I honestly can produce better food myself. I can’t recommend this restaurant and actually I would discourage anyone who appreciates good food from dining there. Try Tasca do Kiko for quality food a d good tapas.

We had een really nice night out at Barbosa. The staff is really friendly and they really make you feel welcome. The food is delicious. Try the flaming chorizo! It’s amazing.

6/10The food was average, the goat cheese ball was overcooked and the avocado in the tuna tartare felt a bit off. The service was pretty bad, our waitress forgot about us more than once: when we came in, it took her 15 minutes to come to take our order and then she forgot to bring our bill after we asked for it. The restaurant has a beautiful setting and design and the octopus risotto was quite delicious. Maybe this was just an off night for this place but we were hoping for a better experience from the reviews we read online.

10/10Really friendly welcome. Food was great quality with a good mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to accompany it. Moroccan chicken main was superb. Will definitely return.

6.5/10The food was unremarkable. Not offensive, but it’s disappointing to pay for (what you hope will be) an elevated meal, and then leave b/c you can make all of these dishes better than what came out of the kitchen. No real love or imagination in the food.

6.5/10I’m not sure what happened but it took an hour and 20 minutes, from the time we ordered, to receive our entrees. We checked in with the server and the host only to be told our food was on the way. Other tables that arrived after us and who ordered similarly were receiving their bills when our food was finally served. During this wait we had to locate servers to ask for more drinks. We felt we’d been forgotten. The only process that moved an a reasonable speed was paying the bill. It arrived at our table within a minute of being requested.

9.5/10Lovely decor, inventive menu, we chose the great wine tasting and tapas offer they have at weekend (we picked an awesome Alentejo NV red.) Then added a few dishes including the best octopus dish (tapas menu) I've eaten in a long while; made with a home made Terryaki dressing. Friendly staff (Mario and David with a swirly accent). The only teasing gripe directed at the owner is that his party of diners drank all of the special wine that his team wanted to share a taste with us. We will certainly be back.

9.5/10Great food and very good attentive service by all of the staff. They looked after us very well and there was no hurry at all to finish our meal. But too expensive either at €65 for starters, mains, desert, and all drinks. Will definitely be back..
