10/10This was our 3rd visit to Basara and it was just as wonderful as before. The design & ambience is lovely - elegant, simple & relaxing. The service is always excellent - very attentive, friendly & professional. And must if all - the food is divine! No matter what we order the quality is high, the tastes are subtle & well put together and the overall effect is wonderful. One of our all time favourite restaurants. We can’t wait to return again soon.

10/10I found the sushi here to be quite good. The cocktails, prepared by the bartender (also the waiter), which were crafted with fresh mint and a hint of wasabi - were stellar. The restaurant decor is stylish (subtly modern) and provides a nice respite for the eyes from the ubiquitous Venetian shabby-chic interiors prevelant in this zone's restaurants.

9.5/10Excellent meal! We had assortment of nigiri sushi, rolls and appetizers, and all were great! We are serious sushi lovers, and this place rates very high in terms of fish quality, freshness, and preparation. On top of this, the service was excellent! The only part that could have been better is the location of our table. We were seated in the outside area, and it was quite hot and I was bothered by the few mosquitoes. This did not however effect how much we enjoyed our dining experience. Highly recommend!

10/10Basara is is our sushi local and the team is always nice and food always excellent. As it was a night out with just my daughter we didn’t go for the more creative things from the menu (which I recommend!) but they always make simple things that she likes! We are temaki fans and theirs are excellent.

10/10Excellent sushi and service. One of our favorite places in Italy that we ate at (we went to 4 michelin star restaurants while we were there). The service was also excellent.

10/10We’ve been craving sushi in Italy and this hit the spot! Really good rolls and very fresh fish. The salmon was great!
