Hands-down, the best meal that we’ve had in our four months in Valencia. Exceptional from the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave. Service was phenomenal. The meal was incredible. Can’t wait to go back!!

Again a great dinner prepared and served by people with passion and know-how. Especially the combination of high quality products, excellent preparation medthods and great flavors makes this restaurant a great destination. On top with a remarkable wine list. Thx!

This is the second time I have eaten at Basea, Staff is very welcoming and keen to explain the dishes. There is a good choice of meat, fish and vegetables. This time we ordered the sandwich brioche de papada iberica, the leeks, the asparagus and the chuleton which is served with fries and grilled peppers. All delicious! Desserts are excellent too and wine by the glass is good and well priced. Highly recommended.

After a disappointing dinner the night before in Barcelona we were very much looking forward enjoying a great dinner. And Basea did not disappoint us at all, in fact they even have beaten our high expectations. Basea is a nice, modern but sober decorated restaurant. Much more important to mention are the knowledgeable and very enthusiastic people from the restaurant itself who are clearly fans of good food themselves. Because that is what Basea serves: dishes based on excellent quality and fresh ingredients. Ether being it the fantastic beef carpaccio, the incredibly delicious anchovies or the great turbot. Further very well prepared leak with a delicious hollandaise sauce. Together with great Spanish wines a dinner to remember. Unfortunately they are closed Sundays & Mondays otherwise we would have returned in order to discover the rest of the menu. A must go.

Memorable meal for my family and me visiting from the US. All recommendations made were spot on…food was fresh, and well-prepared. There was a sense that the owners were truly putting their heart into Basea’s success. Easily the best meal of our trip so far!

Although the food quality was good, some of the prices were very high. A mini brioche with meat and lettuce for €12. The fish of the day was recommended by the waiter but didn't have a price on the menu. When the bill came we were very surprised it was €78 for just the fish. That seems to be much higher than market value. The fish was well prepared, no complaints there. But we felt the waiter should have told us the price when he recommended it, since it was that high. So all and all, good quality but you can pay at least half at many other great restaurants at the same quality.

We were very impressed with the quality of the cooking in this cozy and relaxed spot. The service was charming, and all of the dishes were delicious, especially the pork ribs.

The restaurant was a great find, what a superb service was given and mouthwatering food served. The accompanying wine made the meal complete and the desserts were awesome.
