6.5/10A restaurant in the heart of Lisbon - and you can tell, since the employees talk to you in English because they assume you are a tourist; understandable, but it makes the experience not that nice. The food is good, although not surprisingly good, but extremely overpriced for its quality. The only dish that deserves to be highlighted is the shrimp taco - an interesting mix of flavours and textures.

Não é nosso procedimento que as primeiras palavras trocadas com os nossos queridos clientes sejam em outra língua se não o Português, provavelmente foi um mal entendido com os colegas. Em relação aos preços, os pratos escolhidos com matérias primas como Sushi, sendo os nossos peixes frescos e de boa qualidade, reflete no preço final, que apesar de tudo contou com um desconto de 50% referente ao Thefork. 8/10Honestly, I was skeptical it'd be a tourist trap because ground zero location but we were pleasantly surprised, especially with the sushi which is hard to find in Lisbon. Diverse cuisine, creative and beautifully presented. The window seat is a people watching show. I had a good negroni and the pinot noir.

5.5/10The service needs to be improved. We have been asked about what we wanted to eat after more than 30 minutes we were seated. They forgot to bring one of the main course we ordered. Not sure if because lack of personnel or poor professionalism

9/10The food was amazing, lots of choices. The restaurant is comfortable, good ambience. The only negative point is if you reserve a table at 22pm after one hour and 10 mints they will turn off the music and deemed the lights, making you feel in a hurry to finish your drinks and food. I wish they could keep the music for longer specially at a Friday night, or the restaurant shouldn’t have available a later booking if they cannot give the customer at least a 1h30 mints of full service and ambience.

7.5/10Bastardo was in the upper echelon of restaurants we dined at when in Lisbon. We ordered salmon nigiri, seafood pasta, and the salmon with curry sauce. The salmon nigiri was rather dry and not as succulent as I would have hoped. Also, the salmon dinner was a small portion for the cost, and only included salmon and rice, no vegetables or anything else to bring the dish together. However, the taste, as well as the seafood pasta all around, was incredibly delicious. On top of the service and ambience, Bastardo was a pleasant stop during our vacation.

The definition of a 10 out of 10 meal. Though at the naked eye it may seem pricey, every single dime spent on the food here served is well worth it. Coupled with that, a very friendly and welcoming, young staff, in a cosy environment, an amazing meal we had here. Definitely a place to go back to, whenever possible!

9/10We celebrated Christmas Eve dinner here and the service was lovely and friendly. Our server made very nice wine recommendations which we loved. We had a very nice booth by the window and could watch the people and Christmas lights outside. Very nice atmosphere.

9.5/10Fantastic quality and preparation of the food. Fresh and delicious fish in all sorts of variations (including sushi). All accompanied by a selection of drinks. We liked the fact that the wine card was not a 10 page book but a more focused selection of red, white, rose and sparkling wines. In addition there is of course cocktails which we did not try so no rating will be given. The combination of quality of food, service and price makes it definitely a very good restaurant option when staying in Lisbon.

7.5/10The food was good - the pork cheeks were very tender and flavourful, but the mashed potatoes , if eaten alone was bland…so eat it with the pork cheeks together. The lobster stew was very good but they do not give you the proper utensil for eating a lobster…couldn’t get all of the meat inside the claw. We were disappointed with the service. Our waitress was a bit rude to us. We had to request more napkins and water…she never came back to see how we were doing and if we needed anything else. She scolded my husband for moving his drinking glass to the side when she brought the lobster dish. We were not given any wet napkins to wipe our hands after we ate the lobster. In general, just ok.

10/10We actually dined at Bastardo 3 times. Each time was excellent. My husband loved the fish sandwich. I loved the fish stew and sea bass. The servers are very nice, and quality of the ingredients is excellent.

7/10Great oysters and the the seafood stew and octopus croquettes were pretty good. Roasted vegetables were overcooked and overly seasoned with something so much I couldn't eat it. wine way over priced. I am told this restaurant was better in the past and had changed. wait staff friendly but only one waitress was knowledgeable to questions.
