7.5/10The food was good - the pork cheeks were very tender and flavourful, but the mashed potatoes , if eaten alone was bland…so eat it with the pork cheeks together. The lobster stew was very good but they do not give you the proper utensil for eating a lobster…couldn’t get all of the meat inside the claw. We were disappointed with the service. Our waitress was a bit rude to us. We had to request more napkins and water…she never came back to see how we were doing and if we needed anything else. She scolded my husband for moving his drinking glass to the side when she brought the lobster dish. We were not given any wet napkins to wipe our hands after we ate the lobster. In general, just ok.

10/10We actually dined at Bastardo 3 times. Each time was excellent. My husband loved the fish sandwich. I loved the fish stew and sea bass. The servers are very nice, and quality of the ingredients is excellent.

7/10Great oysters and the the seafood stew and octopus croquettes were pretty good. Roasted vegetables were overcooked and overly seasoned with something so much I couldn't eat it. wine way over priced. I am told this restaurant was better in the past and had changed. wait staff friendly but only one waitress was knowledgeable to questions.

10/10My family & I absolutely loved our experience! The food was so flavorful & fresh every bite had us blushing and saying OMG! It was all unique and extremely enjoyable. The wait staff was amazing! Our main waiter got very busy so at times we had to wait for her attention but never too long. The supporting staff was also very attentive and we loved seeing the manager on the floor helping serve and check on guests ! We had a 6:30 reservation and they were able to sit us early to get out of the rain and wait for the rest of our party to arrive. We loved everything on the menu and 10/10 recommend!

8.5/10My octopus was fresh and tasty but it was somewhat rubbery/tough. I know octopus is tricky to cook. This dish wasn’t perfect, I would prefer the octopus more tender but it tasted like the ocean and the sweet potatoes and asparagus were perfect. My husband had the smoked pork cheeks with creamed potatoes and roasted baby carrots. Out of this world! Also had some nice local wine.

7/10I had the Salmon with coconut rice and curry sauce. it sounded like an exciting dish but the presentation of the meal was quite a huge disappointment. For seemingly no reason at all they decided to keep more than half the plate uncovered. This is a dish that costs 25€! Imagine what I thought when for this price ai received an empty plate. Just put the rice on the plate! Or at the very least put the sauce (even if its in the saucer) also on the plate! You can't give someone an empty plate like that and it ruined the experience before even trying the dish. The dish itself tasted ok. The salmon was slighty raw in the middle in my opinion. Big shoutout to the flawless service!! The only thing positive in this unimpressive experience.

5/10A nice looking place with good people watching, but food came out cold. We saw it was ready on the counter, but with each course it just sat there waiting for the server to bring it to us. A requested second glass of wine never came. We had to ask for water three times before we received a bottle. The risotto was overly salty and not really risotto. The sashimi also was delivered so it was served room temperature. we skipped dessert and started the long wait for our bill. we noted other tables waitint for food or a bill as well.

4.5/10To start, they do not allow you to order tap water. When we asked the waiter, he was quite rude about it. We ordered the seafood stew and it was gross. It was literally a pot of cilantro and mediocre stew. I would definitely not recommend coming to this establishment. I will say the salmon and coconut rice was decent. It was overpriced and very touristy.

10/10This was our first dinner in Portugal and it did not disappoint! My white sangria was refreshing and tasty. The sautéed shrimp appetizer was bursting in flavor and the broth perfect with the bread we ordered. The turbot entree with pea puree was delicious.. My husband enjoyed his octopus dish as well.

9.5/10We had the octopus and the seabass. I requested sweet potatoes puree instead of the regular mashed and they made the change with no additional cost. First the seabass wasn’t cooked, they changed it and gave me a new plate. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

6.5/10The service was OK, until it came time to pay. The waiter had misunderstood a passing comment, and had added an unordered item to the bill. In addition, the staff didn't know how to apply the €25 The Fork discount. Between the two issues, it took 4 attempts and about 15 extra minutes before the bill was correct. However, the staff was constantly friendly.

5.5/10I had high expectations, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The shrimp in the stew was not deveined, and the pasta was overcooked, resulting in an unappetizing dish. To make matters worse, the food was overpriced, which is somewhat expected in a tourist-heavy area. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory.

10/10A fantastic restaurant in an otherwise touristy area of Lisbon. The appetizers were thoughtful and tasty, and our entrees were cooked to perfection. The steak for the Tournedo was high quality, and we appreciated the medium-rare temperature. Also, one of the best tuna tataki in memory in our family. Don't let the name fool you--this is a seriously good restaurant in Lisboa.
