7.5/10Conveniently situated by metro Pere Lachaise ( opposite Cemetry) Food was very good and a good ambience. Naturally menu is in French but waiter not inclined to translate -so brush up ! Excellent value with Fork discount. We paid 22eu for 2 mains and 1 dessert. Worth booking

7/10Much less good experience than our first visit although we ordered some same plates. Melted camembert was cold and not at all melted and the food overall was served average heat and wasn’t as good. But, very good offer and excellent service by the waiters so I would still recommend, it was maybe just a bad night.

9/10Batistou is a charming bistro that perfectly complements a visit to Père Lachaise. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a sense of home-like comfort that is reflected in the food. We started with escargot, which was flavorful and tender, though the butter was slightly overcooked, overshadowing the herbs. For mains, the confit de canard was outstanding—crispy, rich, and perfectly cooked. The filet de boeuf was equally excellent, with a standout peppercorn sauce that added depth to the dish. Both were accompanied by well-seasoned potatoes and fresh salad. Dessert was a crème brûlée. While enjoyable, it lacked the “wow” factor to truly impress. We paired the meal with a glass of Pinot Noir, which was an excellent choice for the dishes we ordered. Service was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Batistou offers authentic, comforting French cuisine that leaves you satisfied and happy. A great spot for a relaxed meal in Paris.

10/10Impeccable service. I went for my lady's birthday, and everything went way better than I expected to. The food (steaks and burgers and Tiramisu) were absolutely delicious and the service by the team was amazing!

7/10Everything was fine even though we were the only diners that evening. The food, wine and service were acceptable but not exceptional. The main dishes were quite good and the waitress was very nice.
