We were impressed by the excellent execution of each item. Each of them was a well balanced play on traditional dish but with a twist. It's always risky to modify recipes that are tried and tested, but here it worked out perfectly. The fermented sour vegetables added a subtle freshness to the grilled veal tongue. The pasta with caramelized onions became more complex through the addition of roasted fennel, etc. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The restaurant aims for a "fine dining" vibe but but in an overbearing way. I'd highly recommend it.

Very good visual execution in all plates, they are presented very well in the table, change of silverware, portions are just perfect not too much and not too little and a nice comfort ambiance in the restaurant. Although, the flavours of the plates do not deliver a full experience, lacking meat on the menu, there was only a chicken that was overcooked and some dry, the pasta lacked explosion in sea touch, no wine list being completely dependant on what a sommelier will recommend, sure a lot to work but with potential. I was surprised to be Michelin recommended

Food was delicious & very well prepared Servers could have been more interactive with guests I.e. talking about menu selections and how chef prepared the dishes. Presentation of Bebop Oyster was beautiful. The other dishes had underwhelming presentations although food was very good. Restaurant was empty aside from our group of 6 so business did not impact the ability of the staff to make this a special dining experience for us

Found Bebop on the michellin guide. The amuse bouche was okay but nothing special. My starter, a cheese dish with vinegar and honey was disappointing but it may have been because of the dish i chose but my pasta dish, made gluten free was delicious.

Nothing special, the aubergine lasaña was cold.
Bebop RistoranteSorry miss, we don’t have any aubergine lasagna in our menu, as you can also check on the fork. If you are referring to our amouse bouche that we kindly offer at the beginning of the dinner to all our customers, it’s a parmigiana, it doesn’t have any aubergine in it but salty lemons and it’s meant to eat it cold, especially in August.

+3A cozy place with a nice atmosphere, but we were surprised to find it almost empty – just one other couple besides us. The food was good, though nothing that really impressed us. Since there were only two tables occupied, we had expected the chef to pass by and greet us, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Overall, a pleasant evening, but missing a little personal touch.

Food is interesting and enjoyable but portions are way too small. We took the 3 course meal and were still hungry, so shared an extra desert and still had a small snack elsewhere after the meal, albeit not considering myself a big eater. I guess if we had taken the 5 course meal we would have been fine, but I would still not expect to leave a place hungry after a 3 course meal and half an extra desert. I would also have hoped the waiter and waitress would have engaged with us, explained a bit the menu and options, they definitely had time to do so as there were only 1 additional table with guests in the restaurant which made for a bit of an awkward atmosphere. It was pretty hot as well that evening and it would have been better if the door was closed and the air condition was switched on. Quite a shame, this could be a great restaurant, but with the way it is run, I cannot recommend.

A child macaroni dish and a dry pork belly wasn’t what I was expecting. On top of that a very overpriced single oyster with some garnish and an amuse that was poorly presented. Wines were good, food was below par and service was okay but slow.

The main course was great, the overall food was good. Unfortunately The service was unfocused and not passionate. We didn’t feel welcome. But maybe this was just a bad day.

Very comfortable atmosphere with casual but well designed interior. Lighting was especially well done. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was great and their wine offerings impressive. We will definitely be back

The food was quite good in terms of flavor, though it didn’t exactly have a “wow” factor. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter/sommelier seemed disinterested and brought out the dishes without saying a single word or offering so much as a smile. It felt a bit impersonal and lacked the warmth you’d hope for when dining out.

This is a great restaurant. Chef Benedetto is creative and yet faithful to tradition. I wish they were open tonight so I could return.

This restaurant had the most refined cuisine we had in Palermo. It is not typical Sicilian food but modern, creative and edgy. Foodies looking for a unique, delicious meal should eat at Bebop Ristorante whose name evokes the innovative jazz style of the 1940s and 50’s.

The Bebop's three-dish menu is very reasonably priced, and we were delighted to be served reasonably small servings of unusually tasty and interesting dishes. Although the service was efficient, it was remarkably lacking in warmth and refinement. For instance, as the waiter removed the dishes from our main course, he asked "Do you want dessert?" That is not acceptable in a quality restaurant-- least of all on a Saturday night in Palermo. The Bebop's culinary potential will only be realized when it adopts the warmer, more graceful style of other quality restaurants in Palermo and Sicily. Unfortunately neither a print nor digital version of the wine list is available.

Kind and knowledgeable staff. Charming, not overly stuffy decor. Reasonable prices for very good food and wine. Thoughtful approach to Sicilian cuisine.

We had read mixed reviews before coming by to Bebop, but were interested in the menu so we tried the 5 course tasting menu. Really nice staff, great food, and a decent recommendation on both bottles of wine. Will definitely be back next time in Palermo!

Fabulous food, very helpful staff, great wine. There may not be a wine list but the suggestions were perfect for the courses we choose. Loved it.

Food ok, prices random and too high. Service rude and unprofessional, treating us badly, just because we asked for the AC to be turned on. The 20% discount offered via the fork was also not given. Not recommended. i
Bebop RistoranteDear Robin Diener, We actually gave you the 20%discount, but as the fork says when customer makes a reservation, “discounts are only for food, not beverage or fixed and tasting menus”. So, you actually should have applied the calculation -only- on the food that you ordered. Mistery solved, next time please fell free to ask so the staff can explain you the bill if something is not clear. About the wine list, yes we don’t use it anymore, our cellar is constantly changing bottles, looking at new terroirs and way to express, working with small realities and then trying to suite the wine to our customers requests. We are very clear about prices and, of course, while wine by the glass is certainly an option, 10 euros is not expensive for the quality and service we do offer. About the A/C, we don’t really know how to comment that. So if you felt something was wrong about that, we are sorry but it seems to us you imagined something that it was not real and that is not art of our story. We do hope everything is a bit

We had a fantastic time at Bebop. Food was great, wine pairings were even better. Very relaxed service yet very professional. And very reasonable prices. Thank you team Bebop!!

Amazing food! Not your red sauce usual. The Chef put a real effort into the food. The mix of a a whisper of heat and then a new flavor of creamy softness was magic. This is one of the few places that i have eaten where I will not be able to replicate what i have at home. The price was shockingly inexpensive! The staff understood the food at a level i rarely see. I felt like i was on the worlds top chef show. If you are looking for a cut above, go!
