Not impressed at all.Food was plenty, entreated I order was tough people come to a restaurant to dine my meat was supposed to come with potatoes,and asparagus. it came with the potatoes(best thing on the plate' and 2 asparagus.

We had such an amazing food here! Definitely recommend the braised tuna and the octopus. We've tried octopus several time before, but this pushed it to a new level. Best octopus we've had!

Excellent presented and great tasting food. Friendly and efficient service and pleasant atmosphere. Limited menu but all items great. Wines good also. Fork discount given. Definitely a place worth a visit even if a bit off the beaten track. Really enjoyed.

The food was really good, especially the cod fish with apple crumble, such a unique tasty combination! I ordered two desserts, chocolate cake and lime tart both taste good too, not too sweet which suits my preference! Love the homey environment of the restaurant too!

The food here is absolutely amazing! This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for Portuguese cuisine. The service was excellent, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend trying the chouriço picante, the octopus, and the pork—each dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food!

Welcoming place and staff. The food is excellent. We had the octopus and tuna and drank two glasses of Vinho Verde. Everything was delicious and prepared with care and attention by the chef. Highly recommended.

This ws our second visit to Beco a Serio, and we couldn't resist having the tuna again. It was outstanding. As was the lime tart. Friendly, attentive service, great food, comfortsble ambience - the three things you need in a restaurant but often don't get!

Lovely outdoor seating area, Nice ambience. Food was very good--this was our first night n Portugal so it's difficult remember precise details. To pay homage to an old friend who ate cod dishes every evening on his visit here in 2006, I did the same in 2024. Most of the cod dishes were very good, a few excellent. However, I find the overall quality of food and service (in Lisbon and Porto) to not be as good (5 star) this trip. In the Douro Valley, excellent.

Very good local Portuguese restaurant in Lisbon, located in the Alfama district. Limited menu and being first-time Lisbon visitors from overseas we were slightly challenged by the menu but well assisted by the Maitre D. Many thanks. By the way, check out the flour-less chocolate cake with ice-cream. Not sure if it is typical for Portugal - or Lisbon in particular - but either way, a banger of a dish!!
