This restaurant may be small, but it’s incredibly cozy. It truly feels like stepping into a typical grandmother’s home. The food is excellent, and the service is absolutely top-notch. Tucked away in a hidden alley, it’s definitely worth discovering and trying!

The food was outstanding. The head chef/proprietor was friendly, warm, charming, quirky, and forthcoming with information about the food and the wine. Walking up the narrow winding street to get there added to the charm. It was recommended by a nearby restauranteur that was fully booked for that night and the night after.

Great food, wine and service. My wife and I had the Sweet Cheese and Ham as starters, and then had a trio of Tapas and 2 puddings all of which were excellent. Thoroughly recommend and the owner is brilliant too!

The owner of the restaurant was friendly. The head chef did her best to accommodate to our need of un salty food. However, the food was not fresh. I've ordered a tuna dish and it tasted off and neither was the octopus. The chicken was a bit dry.

We stumbled upon this restaurant looking for gluten free options. It was close to our hotel (literally across from the hotel!). We ate here multiple times on our visit to Lisbon because the food was amazing, the staff was excellent and the ambiance was perfect! I highly recommend!

A bit off the main track, recommended to us. Substance over style, we dined al fresco with wonderful service - and just perfectly freshly cooked good food, my tuna was melt in the mouth, others enjoyed tender octopus, ribs and steaks, noone was disappointed. We tried all desserts - authentic with relaxed ambience.

Wonderful local restaurant with outstanding food and service. Every course was beautifully cooked and presented. The portions were really generous and the prices extremely reasonable. The two starters- garlic mushrooms and baked goats cheese were delicious and the two mains- seared tuna and octopus were equally good. The home made chocolate cake we had for dessert was top notch too. A fantastic meal. Highly recommended.

We visited as a family of four and had a wonderful evening. What truly stood out was the exceptional service – warm, attentive, and accommodating, with excellent advice on our choices and great care taken with our special requests. The location is beautifully quiet, creating a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy our meal. Overall, a lovely dining experience that we would happily recommend.

Loved the outdoor seating and our server was lovely. However, the food was not great. We came on a Sunday evening and the bread was stale, the cod was overly fishy, the octopus (which our server said might be the best in town) was frankly kind of gross/flaccid. The sauce on the chicken was nice, but the chicken itself was dry. We've had much better meals. I hate to leave a less than stellar review, but I saw so many rave ones and that was not our experience - at least of the food.

Food was really, really, REALLY greasy :( 23€ for an octopus covered in oil… even with the discount, it was too expensive for the quality. I’m a local, and this place felt like a tourist trap.
