10/10Excellent tasting fish and meat dishes, incredible local tastes, very delicious desserts. Since we were a group of 6, we had the chance to taste different main courses and desserts. All were very delicious. The waiters are local and very helpful. The wine recommended by our waiter was also great. Very happy with the overall quality and experience.

10/10Surely this must be the best fish restaurant in Cascais. Wonderful ambience, excellent fish and wine, attentive and experienced waiters supported by a highly skilled kitchen. A landmark in a quiet corner of Cascais. You’d be foolish to miss it.

9.5/10We have lived in Monte ESTORIL for three years always searching for a seafood restaurant to our liking no luck prior to Beira Mar. Beira Mar leans closer to a French Style Seafood Restaurant than Portuguese. It is not French. Wonderful varied menu of quality fish and excellent Desert Menu. All in all a 4.8 of 5. Now a regular for us. Also the French Fries were superb. Obrigado Beira Mar!

5/10Very disappointing return. After excellent first visit. Main courses very poor, three dishes restaurant didn’t charge us for, waiter seemed more interested in selling more bottles of wine than the quality of food. If seafood is your thing this isn’t a place for you.

4/10My wife and I choose the filet mignon. In both cases it was probably the worst prepared steak we have experienced. Poorly cooked,, had to send back 3 times. Poorly prepared, poorly seasoned and poorly . cooked. Tasteless.

10/10This restaurant deserves its reputation. That’s why it’s been in business so long. Food was delicious, service was polished and attentive. We were inside in elegant setting, but there is also a lovely terrace.

2/10We went to the restaurant in the morning and they gave us a specific table that we asked for and promised it would be ours - when we arrived at 7.30 another couple were sitting there so we left very upset and disappointed

10/10An experienced crew of highly motivated waiters is awaiting the guests and everyone is served in an extraordinarily dedicated way as if they were the only customers in the restaurant. You can absolutely trust in the reliable and good advice concerning the menu, food and wine, given by the staff! Try out the „carabineiros“ prawns with white rice and squeeze the last bit of sauce out of them! The world will not be the same after this experience!

9.5/10A little gem at the end off a busy street full of restaurants but worth walking to end of street for. Inside and outside seats we ate inside. I had pork my partner Portugese beef. There was a mix up over the side order . I specifically said no French fries but that's what arrived. Dessert and 2 wines came to 74 euro. Worth another visit

10/10Having lunch here was a very pleasant experience. We had a nice table outdoors, the staff was attentive and answered our questions about the fish dishes and how they are prepared. The fresh oysters were excellent. We had a robalo in the Portuguese style. My girlfriend asked for rice to be substituted for the potatoes and this was no problem. I would return here.
