Nice food if you are looking for a break from Italian food while in Bologna. Relatively unassuming from the outside but the staff are friendly and welcoming.

We where 2 people of Sweden to try their meals, it was 2 falaffelplates and one taboulesalad with coca-cola and sprite. The food tasted good and we got -50% off the price there with the app The Fork. The restaurant is behind the central train station.

Food nicely presented and, having lived in the Middle East for 12 years, the taste and quality ranged from average to normal, nothing special. Fattoush was nice. Arabic bread was cold, chewy, old and too little. Fatayer dough too thick. Fried aubergines were cold. Service closed to non existent, only a couple of bare minimum words spoken politely and then we had to call to get water (and never got another one after we ran out before the meal ended) + to clear the empty plates + to ask for dessert. Table too small to serve all mezze ordered and no alternative solution was offered. Hot tea took forever to be served. No one ever asked how it went. Despite having ordered dishes from the main à la carte menu, the 50% discount wasn’t applied to everything on the bill. The toilet was dirty and the hand soap was finished. Tables felt too close to each other and, other than the lanterns, the rest of the decor was rather plain. Overall disappointing and not inviting to repeat the experience.
