6/10my husband’s food was cold. not generous with anything. ie olive oil but charged for the bread? the man who served us actually told us they were not ‘obliged’ to give us olive oil it was only for a tasting? we have travelled all thru italy from top to bottom and have never been told that. going out for dinner isn’t cheap so we do expect service and maybe olive oil from the country that produces it. i don’t think that’s asking for much. food was okay. wine list was extensive.

Gentilissima cliente questa è la terza recensione che in una settimana si appresta a farmi , dopo Google dopo trip ed eccoci qua . Le ricordo come già detto che l’olio è una cortesia che offriamo ai ns clienti , in ogni caso se ne avesse voluto dell’altro poteva semplicemente chiedere, e nessuno lo avrebbe negato . Se per lei diventa difficile andare al ristorante può scegliere sicuramente altri con dei target più bassi del mio . Mi spiace solo di una cosa: che nonostante la ns professionalità, cordialità le si impunta sempre sul negativo . Riguardo le porzioni sono più abbondanti della media di altri ristoranti! Grazie ancora

10/10Incredible, incredible food. Blanched scampi, seared tuna, soft octopus, can't begin to compliment. Waiters knew their wines, got us something local and incredible. The kiddo doesn't eat tomatoes and they improvised a carbonara just for her. Lovely people, intimate space, great service, can't compliment them enough.

9.5/10Excellent service and amazing food. We had the traditional tasting menu. We selected a wine but was recommended another which was far superior but actually the same price. Great to not be subjected to upsell! The restaurant was a little quiet but attributed to the tourist season slowing and a G7 meeting taking place in Matera! Lots of roads closed! Throughly recommend this restaurant.

The service was lovely and super friendly but the shining star was the simple elegant perfect spaghetti with anchovies and lemon! We have been traveling in Italy for ten days and had many dinners that were great but that bowl of perfection was magnificent. If you are afraid of even the word anchovies, take a gamble . Here the delicate depth that their flavor gave was perfect and the lemon zest and slightly lemony broth that infused the pasta and was a great reward with bread at the end was terrific. We also loved the local wine, the cod ravioli and the warm chocolate dessert. I will go back, maybe even tonight! Also it is a charming location.

9/10Personnel friendly, and flexible since we have an small child and the cook what we needed. Food are good, prices are according the installation. Probably is not so busy since is located in the bottom of Matera.

10/10Wonderful dinner of traditional fare. Bean and sausage soup was delicious and satisfying; the portion was large enough to be a great lunch, especially with the excellent bread served at this restaurant. Pasta ragu was simple and tasty. The wine list is very extensive, but a red ordered by the glass was sensational at €6. My only regret was that on a Saturday night, the place was almost empty, due I suspect to it being late November, but this place deserves an audience.
