After a reservation we were told it is only for sushi bar on the 1sr floor. But if we want we can go upstairs to the main restaurant with fire cooking. But we did not get any discount! The Food is great, but please consider that NO discount!! Or they did not want to give it to us ;(

8/10Interior. ambience and staff very nice. Sushi is also great quality. The teppanyaki dishes is a very nice experience and the chefs make a grest show. The quality af the meat(steak & salmon) could be better in a restaurant like this. Hente the lower rating. Overall a great experience. Would come back

+1The teppanyaki chef, a Filipina, was fantastic. She brought great humor, lively energy, and excellent cooking skills to the experience. The sushi rice was overcooked, and the umami flavor was lacking. When the bill arrived, the 30% discount was not applied. The hôtesse explained that the discount only applied to guests seated at the sushi bar, not the teppanyaki tables — something that was never clarified when we chose our seats. We raised the issue, especially since The Fork did not mention any such restriction. Instead of refunding the €120 difference, the manager offered us coupons, attributing the issue to a technical error with The Fork. Overall, while the teppanyaki experience was enjoyable thanks to the chef, the lack of transparency around the discount and the way the situation was handled left a sour aftertaste.

6.5/10New place, same idea as any Benihana, but compared to London it’s more expensive and portions are smaller, only fried rice comes in industrial quantities. Produce is fresh, technique is the same, so food is good. We had a young lady as “chef”, she was very nice and trying very hard. The negatives: garlic fried in almost every dish, you have to like it. The discount promised by The Fork was refused, as “we do not do it, thank you”. The bottle of white wine came warm, as “all our bottles are like that, will put in on ice”. All with fake smiles. So much for the management. We are not coming back, Paris has better places.

6/10I had a reservation at Benihana Paris for the hibachi restaurant, arrived on time, and confirmed we were there for the restaurant—not the sushi bar. Despite this, we were taken to a table near the sushi counter and told we couldn’t move because the restaurant was “full.” When I pointed out I had a reservation, the server insisted we had chosen the sushi area at the hostess stand (we hadn't) and said there was nothing they could do. Oddly enough, we checked their website while sitting there, and tables were still available for the exact time and all evening after we had reserved. We also kept watching more people be taken upstairs. It felt like we were being pushed out of the main restaurant because we booked through a third-party site that offered a discount. The staff was rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. This was not the Benihana experience I’ve known and loved in the U.S. I came prepared to give this place a glowing review, but instead, I left disappointed and disrespected.
