Very good relationship process-quality and an excellent service. After 5 years since I first discovered it, I am pleased to see that this place did not change the quality and passion for japanese cuisine with an authentic sfeer, nor did they give up to the shrinkflation that helaas has impacted many restaurants. Warmly recommended!

It is a very old restaurant with a long history. But the food was very basic. I have been to teppanyaki's restaurant many times but this was far below the level I have experienced. But the owner was kind to write me a card for my birthday in Japanese which was very sweet.

It’s a nice small Japanese Resurant, with delicious food, the only thing i would change is to hire an extra cook as one cook it a bit hard for all the tables and makes the service a bit slow. Other than i really enjoyed it.

A time based experience since a few cooks do all the cooking. Which is fine because that gives plenty of time to talk. The flame of fire is nice and always nice for a photo moment. The food is good and well prepared.

Benkei is one of the few favourite restaurants in The Hague. We go quite often with friends and family. Weblove Japanese food and Japanese culture. Benkei is a real traditional restaurant with genuine Japanese food and service. The food is of very high quality, not like all-you-can-eat types. Here you have simple but good food. Pricea are reasonable. Service is also amazing. The owners are wanderful people and serve with great delicacy.

I’ve been at Benkei with my girlfriend for dinner and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We’ll definitely come back for more sushi!

Very good japanese teppanyaki restaurant. We were 2 families, 7 fitting perrectly around a grill table. Food is delicious and fine. Service discrete and quiet Ambiance. A bit expensive but quality teppanyaki is worth it. I recommend.

For authentic Japanese food, come here! The setting is beautiful, I felt like I was back in Japan. Our main meal was cooked in front of us by the chef and all the food was delicious! They have a nice microbrewery beer which we tried, and a range of sake and whiskey, which we will try next time! The service was great, super friendly!

You always get the highest quality of food, service and ambiance at Benkei - one of the best and most consistent restaurants I know of in The Hague. If you enjoy Teppan Yaki and/or Sushi in a REAL and AUTHENTIC traditional Japanese atmosphere, this is the place to be. And very centrally located.
