10/10This restaurant is a gem. The service from Mariann was relaxed but very professional, he gave great food and wine recommendations. The background music they play is sensational and made for a very special evening- thank you.

10/10Great experience all around! The food was delicious, and the waiter was super friendly and attentive. What really stood out was the interior – it feels like you're sitting in someone's cozy living room, which gives the whole place a very relaxed and unique vibe. Definitely worth a visit!

10/10It was our first night in Trieste and the staff at the restaurant made us feel very welcome. The food was very good with great wine recommendations from a very entertaining and enthusiastic sommelier. We all truly enjoyed the whole experience.

3/10Unprofessional young waiter asking too many personal questions being rude and impolite. When we mentioned a proper way of behavior regarding an impolite remark he made since it was quite intrusive he was oblivious about it. Right there and then we realized that the level of unprofessionalism went too far and decided to leave. Unfortunately since the restaurant seemed nice with an interesting food menu which we didn't have the appetite to try after an unpleasant experience.

8/10Excellent service, the waiter/maitre de salle was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was generally very good but my fillet was barely tepid on arrival. Very good selection of wines, excellent home made bread. The restaurant itself looks slightly shabby and it would need some superficial redecoration (for instance, the chairs are white and they have visible dark marks from being handled).

The ambiance, food, the service and attention of the waitstaff (and their knowledge and presentation of the wine) made this a first-rate experience. In fact, it was so good we just booked dinner on our way back through Trieste!

7/10two girls did not serve very well. The menu invited us to taste good food and we were encouraged by a pasta that arrived completely cold and a meat that was poorly cut and presented. The cost-benefit ratio was disappointing.

5/10We had high expectations and were very disappointed. They might have been having a very bad night. Certainly understaffed. We waited an hour between our starter and the main course. My husband had the Tempura Chicken and had to pull pieces of cartilage out of his mouth. They never even asked how our food was.

10/10The wine recommendation was excellent. For us North Americans it is such a treat to get high quality wines by the glass. You must try the wild boar - excellent taste but puzzles the taste buds. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this relaxed yet exquisite dining experience. Deserves Six stars.

We had a wonderful dinner at this bright and elegant spot during a short stay in Trieste. We were one of the first to arrive after they opened at 7 for dinner. The modest menu is full of house made pasta and dishes featuring local specialties. As we often do on our travels, we shared several items starting with a beautiful antipasto plate of local cheese, local honey and nuts-yum. For the pasta course we savored the rich and luscious wild boar ragu (goulash in the local vernacular) over fresh pappadella pasta. Then finally we shared the beef fillet which was fine, but nothing like the beef in the US. There’s also an extensive wine list with dozens of moderately priced local wines. We had a 2015 blend that was only36€. Service was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our evening in this beautiful spot.

10/10The setting was absolutely beautiful - Modern, yet warm, spotless and elegant. The music was so great we asked our server for the Spotify name. The food was outstanding! And our server was lovely, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable….. All in all, a fabulous experience

The hospitality and service were lacking. Brought out primi items before appetizer, then brought out wrong appetizer, then skipped over our main dish. Then server disappeared altogether so we had to track the other one down to pay. There is no way this is a top 10 spot in Trieste. It was our worst experience, and I cannot recommend!

6.5/10The service was very likable. Unfortunately, there was a 40 minute wait for the first course. Salt was mostly omitted in most of the courses except for the bread which was way too salty. The fried chicken was not really well-done. The other food was lukewarm. The bottled wine was underwhelming (which is a matter of personal taste, however). Even though everything seems to have been freshly prepared, the value for money was not really what I had expected given the above-average price for a restaurant in Italy.

10/10Outstanding service and recommendations from the staff. Food is extremely close to Michelin restaurant quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the 60 day dry aged steak for two with a glass of Poppóne that was a perfect pairing. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Trieste!

I organized a lunch here between a few women who'd never met before. I decided at the last minute to bring my dog and the waiters were very gracious and accommodating. I was very pleased with my meal (spaghetti alla chitarra) which was very fresh and tasty, as was one of the other two ladies (who had the gnocchi alla zucca). The third lady ordered a Hamburger and fries and was disappointed when the fries were cold and bright back just reheated in the microwave and the Hamburger less cooked than she wanted. I think they were normal mistakes which could happen, the graduation party behind us was keeping the staff quite busy! I loved the atmosphere, the food and the proximity to the square/ station and harbor. Will definitely return!
