First of all, it is absolutely worth to visit! The place is small, mention on a positive side because gives a cosy, familiar, relaxing atmosphere.This time I tried the short menu for lunch, really delicious items, taste a bit asian but not the spicy one. The kind of open “kitchen” is really cool to see how the dishes are prepared. Waitress was so kind describes the dishes in details in English, appreciated it. I’m pretty sure to visit them again!

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Our waitress was Marta and she was very kind and helpful. The food was amazing (the rice pudding was the best dessert of the vacation). When we come back to Madrid, will definitely return here.

Some dishes in the tasting menu were amazing, and the others creative and ambitious. Unfortunately the price has gone up a bit and so not many guests came for lunch

The staff were extra accommodating knowing we didn't speak Spanish, the food was phenomenal, the duck was especially exquisite and the garlic sauce shrimp. We'd highly recommend Bichopalo to tourists looking for a modern Japanese twist on Spanish food when visiting Madrid.

We enjoyed the dishes, especially the first seven. Beautifully presented, with many good flavors and bold combinations, which were very positive. The pumpkin and mushrooms are often repeated, even though it's already April. Perhaps because we're not Spanish, but we miss the hospitality. The service does its job, but nothing more. A good experience, definitely worth trying. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. The hour and a half they give you is too short; I understand the maximum time indicated, but two hours would be better.

It’s a pure Japanese restaurant, instead of “modern kitchen” as advertised. The taste is flat and certainly not refined. We didn’t finish two of the dishes because it was simply not well cooked. The service is fine and friendly, although the lady could have given more attention to her nails. All in all a disappointing experience.
