It was a disappointing experience, the place is very noisy, because of the bad acoustics people were screaming to each other. Tap water, which I believe should be free, was on the bill. The 'ganzelever' which was optional and not ordered was charged. One glass of wine, part of the package, was never served (but not charged after complaining). The meat, which was ordered as medium was raw. The cow must have been old, so the meat that could not be eaten was returned to the kitchen. After complains, no compensation was offered. It's such a shame that a restaurant ruins it's reputation like that. Fortunately Zwolle has a lot of restaurants that are much better, and cheaper too!

The food was creative, elegant and delicious, we let the chef create a menu for us and it really surprised us, the mix of ingredients, different textures and colors. I got dishes that I would never order by myself but at the end all the dishes were very tasty, with special flavors, delicious, highly recommend and if you go, let the chef to create a menu for you

We were 'bij Broeders' with friends. All four of us had a slightly different 3-course 'surprise' menu as three of us had a special request. The highlight for most of us was a specially prepared ribeye. If I remember correctly, it was first BBQed andsubsequently slowly cooked in the oven (I am going to try this at home). The accompanying wine was also great, a Tempranillo based reserva wine from Cigales (near Rioja). The other dishes were very good too as well as the service. Nice decor and attentive service. So, we will be back next time we are in Zwolle.
