Amazing service, staff who seas you from the moment you enter. Delicious food. I had a chicken soup and the meat was so tender it almost melted on the tongue. good price . Absolutely recommending .

We had a wonderful weather, so we had a wonderful spot outside - excellent food and very flexible service - adjusting to all we wanted. Avocado salad served in an avocado skin was super delicious and all was. Nice Lily coffee too - a wonderful lunch experience!

In a street filled with restaurants, Bij Hem really stood out for great service and food. Mussels were fresh and flamkucken was best I had in the Netherlands. The restaurant was full but the service was very friendly and fast. I recommend for a small group or just for two on a Friday.

Had a very nice evening art ‘bij hem’. Great food. Wine was very nice and good value for money. Service very pleasant. Overall very good experience..

One of the best small restaurants in The Hague center. Must try the ‘Thom’ beer, brewed just around the corner! Great menu, wonderful staff and the atmosphere is really nice. Must go!

BijHem is a wonderful small restaurant in the Hague’s Hofkwartier. With a few tables outside and a few more inside it easily fills to capacity but never feels crowded. On the contrary, the nice atmosphere combined with the great food makes it a treasure where we regularly find ourselves having dinner. Take a seat at the bar or at one of the high tables, enjoy your food and wine and have a great evening.

So nice to have discovered this place, really nice vibe and drinks reasonable priced. Food is also nice although somewhat expensive,. Will be back to visit soon!

The staff is kind, helpful and welcoming. The quality of food is superb. Not a fancy place, but it has vibe. Perfect for appointments and better for max 4 people together. Good catch.

I experienced a very nice romantic evening. I reserved a window spot witch was 45 min in advance available for us (thanks to the owner of course). I did do like the meals very much. I ordered the saté which was with enough sauce. So chapeau chef! This was a plus-point. I rate this place a 10/10 due to the kindness but the appropriateness of the employees, the dishes, nice music and atmosphere. There are almost as many opinions as there are people but if I should give a tip: We ordered bread with aioli, hummus and pesto. The portion of bread was enough but the quantity of the ointments was a bit too much. This seems for me a waste of products despite the royal look for the eye. Despite the fantastic Saté with enough sauce, the chef gave me mayonnaise which I do not use. I prefer curry. So, team maybe its a good idea to address the needs of the customers by asking preferences or by mentioning that on the menu. This was now with that particular sauce but could be also with DECAF coffee or soya milk. Howev

Wonderful warm service. True hospitality. And the food is good. Not too fancy or hip, just well prepared, lovely presented. And the bill doesn’t call a heart attack for your bank account

Nice atmosphere, and I liked the fish and chips. Tasty desert. The fork price reduction from the fork was applied without asking. Will visit again!

The waiter was not familiar with allergens. He later ensured me that the fish cakes and chicken satay did not contain gluten. Unfortunately, they/one of them did and I got ill as a result. For those without dietary restrictions, the dishes tasted fine.

Very good restaurant! Delicious food and friendly people! Also the decoration was very nice. Good price for the quality of the food. I will visit again for sure.
