10/10The steak was incredible as was the chocolate dessert. We haven’t had much luck in Italy finding good food, but a local recommended this spot and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend!

10/10We went here twice during our stay in Firenze! Service is great, the terrace has a water mist system and the food is excellent. Our recommendation: - the fiorentine bistecca - the lobster pasta - the chianti wine Thank you for the great experience! True value for your money

10/10We decided on Bisteccheria Santa Croce for a birthday celebration in Florence. It was a wonderful experience! Everything was perfect - from the delicate and delicious deep fried zucchini flowers to the incredible 1.5 Kg tomahawk steak. The latter was probably the best steak we have ever eaten. Service was very friendly and highly informative. The restaurant has a lovely ambience looking out across Piazza Santa Croce. We highly recommend this experience!

10/10We had the best experience at our dinner. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The steak was one of the best steaks we had ever had in our life. I would recommend this place to any one and might even go back before we have to leave to go back home.

8.5/10I was really curious to find out if the famed Chianina T-Bone was really worth the premium price and the need to share it with another person (the steak was 1.2 kg,,). In my taste it is not. The steak was tasty but not more so than the average T bone in the USA. Moreover, the meat was somewhat chewy - not even the filet part was as tender as I did expect. So, for me it was overall a disappointment.

8/10We ordered bistecca fiorentina. It wasn’t t-bone and it was a bit overdone, but still very delicious. The service was amazing. All the guys did their very best to make us fill welcome. Ambience - tables outside were a bit to small and was very windy (of course not the restaurant fault). Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we recommend this place.

8.5/10We came early and were the only ones there at the start. Although it seemed quiet, it soon picked up when other guests arrived. The service was very good and the waiter attentive. The Florentine steak was good quality and well cooked. The complementary limoncello was much appreciated. We would recommend this restaurant to steak lovers.

10/10Highly recommended to visit! ☺️ One of the best stakes i had in the world. We had the Chianina IGP T-Bone steak and the quality was stunning. Also the service was very friendly, caring and helped with choosing the best combination from the courses to the beverages. We definitely will come again when we come to florence again.

10/10Really enjoyed our meal with a good view from the outside tables. We had florentine steak which was cooked perfectly. Pasta was also very good. Wine and beer was great and to top it off our waiter Arno was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to him for a nice experience.

7/10We went for the Florentine steak for 2. We saw it was $58 for 2 people but that’s from French cows. It’s $78 for Florentine beef. We ordered it and were surprised our cut came to $100 euros. So beware you are paying for the weight and it can be a bigger cut than you wanted. Service was good.

10/10This restaurant was a pure delight. I took my girlfriend out here for a date and we feasted upon wonderful local delicacies, such as finocchiona salami, pecorino cheese with beet jam and honey, fiorentina steak and ribollita. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the location is very recommended for the golden hour. Definitely would go again!

10/10The Florentine stake was marvellous. We also had a pizza and it was average, but I totally recommend the stake. The bathrooms do need some improvement, but the restaurant looks good. I would go again just for the stake.

8/10Had a lovely meal here, the steak in particular was delicious. We visited on a very warm evening and, given that we had booked so far in advance, it would have been nice to have a table reserved in the bustling and picturesque outdoor area. That said, a very nice restaurant in a great location.

9.5/10Bisteccheria Santa Croce is a hidden gem. We were looking for a highly rated, lower cost, restaurant, that had openings within ~15 minutes of when we wanted to eat and Bisteccheria Santa Croce met all this requirements. We were nervous at first because most of the other restaurants in the area were booked, so we were concerned other people knew something we didn’t…and man were they wrong. The food (truffle ravioli, wild boar pasta, and a stake) were delicious as was the caprese salad. The restaurant also had one of the deepest menus (widest varieties of food), that we’d seen in Florence….and most of it looked really good. The ambience was great and the restaurant was just off to the side of Santa Croce. The only down side was every time we asked our waiter for a suggestion, it was always one of the most expensive items on the menu which made it hard to tell if the item was really that good, or if he was trying to run up the tab. We took his advice in a couple of places & ignored it in others…and had great food and wine regardless. If you’re looking for a mid-priced meal, with a true Italian feel, where you’re likely to get some really good food, I highly recommend Bisteccheria Santa Croce.

6.5/10Pricing was barely acceptable only because of the 30% discount with the Fork. Quality of food was not at the same level of the price.... Bistecca not memorable and the Tagliere didn't have Tiscany specialties like Lardo

10/10What an amazing evening! Fantastic bistecca Florentina cooked to perfection. We also ordered a side of roasted potatoes. The steak was tender and juicy,. Great flavor! The price was very reasonable and the experience was amazing.

10/10Great location, friendly staff that were extremely polite and attentive. One of the best meals I've had while touring Italy. Highly recommend the Chianina Florentine Steak (for two, or one very hungry person). Added grilled veggies and a bottle of the house red that went well with the whole meal. Recommended to other travelers to stop and try them out. Will be back again next time in Florence. Cheers from Canada!

8/10The food was good, but not exceptional. Perhaps we are too used to steaks prepared in the US and there is no comparison in that regard. I know, why eat steak in Itsly? Well, after a month of scrumptious pastas we wanted a change. We had the filetto al tartufo and the sauce was very good, but the filet lacked flavor. The ribeye was not of the highest quality but tasty. Service was excellent.

6/10Great staff and location but all of the meat was very tough and chewy. All meats not seasoned before cooking. Wouldn’t recommend for the food. I would avoid the fillet as it seemed to be cooked right from the fridge so it was not at all good. Couldn’t be finished.

9.5/10On our first night in Florence we decided to make a booking at Bisteccheria Santa Croce via The Fork, as we didn’t know the area too well. We’re glad we did, as it was a busy restaurant and popular with both tourists and locals alike. We opted to sit outside which was lovely, in the shadow of the beautiful Basilica of Santa Croce. The service throughout the meal was very efficient and friendly, and the ambience was lovely too. The food was excellent, and very good quality. The Antipasti board we started with was absolutely huge, and featured so much high quality charcuterie - a must if you’ve got an appetite! The main courses were also fabulous, my Wild Boar Ragu Pasta was delightful and full of flavour. The Tiramisu was a delicious end to the meal, alongside a shot of Limoncello! We throughly enjoyed our meal at Bisteccheria Santa Croce, and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good value meal out in the sometimes pricey Florence

6/10We had the bistecka and while the meat was average the sides of potatoes and salad were a lazy embarrassment. "salad" was literally just a half of bag ready cut salad, not even bothered to take out to wilted pieces. Potatoes tasted like they were heated in. Microwave.
