Ismail was a wonderful server and had great suggestions, we sat outside which was lovely. The wine was decent, steak was good, zucchini flowers excellent.

10/10We ordered bistecca for 4 and our server Aldo went out of his way to bring a separate hot-plate to our table in case someone wanted the steak more done. He was a great guy and made our dinner memorable with good wine recommendations and attention. This restaurant is worth coming back to.

3/103 of us ordered steak in a peppercorn sauce cooked medium. The steak was overcooked, flat and tough! The plate was absolutely swimming in sauce, far too much to cover the poor steak. We complained, the waiter shouted at the chef, told us he would do another then brought out a bowl of luke warm chips without the steak! We told them not to bother as the rest of our table had finished their meals. The waiter was very rude to us! Although he didn't charge us for the steaks he through the bill at us and grunted when we paid!

9/10We ate inside which is our recommendation due to the crowds in Piazza Santa Croce. It was quiet and peaceful. The service was outstanding ( Aldo) and the Bistecca one of the all time best ( we had a " chianina" steak) we have had in our many visits to Florence. This is not a fancy place but rather very homey and comfortable, very welcoming. And although not obvious from the interior, the wine list by the bottle was very good. The location is in a touristy area but we read about the steak here in the Florentine Newsletter where they gave this restaurant a very high rating. We were pleased to see many locals and highly recommend Bisteccheria Santa Croce to the " bistecca fiorentina " experience.

I had been before and the food and service were fabulous. I’d also seen a beef dish being eaten that looked amazing. I was even more impressed on my second visit. Wonderful food sat in the sun watching the world go by.

8/10Food was all fresh and very well prepared, service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there was a family with children playing on the steps to the side of the outside seating and their interaction with the staff was awkward, which unfortunately took the edge off the ambience.

The steak was incredible as was the chocolate dessert. We haven’t had much luck in Italy finding good food, but a local recommended this spot and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend!

We went here twice during our stay in Firenze! Service is great, the terrace has a water mist system and the food is excellent. Our recommendation: - the fiorentine bistecca - the lobster pasta - the chianti wine Thank you for the great experience! True value for your money

10/10We decided on Bisteccheria Santa Croce for a birthday celebration in Florence. It was a wonderful experience! Everything was perfect - from the delicate and delicious deep fried zucchini flowers to the incredible 1.5 Kg tomahawk steak. The latter was probably the best steak we have ever eaten. Service was very friendly and highly informative. The restaurant has a lovely ambience looking out across Piazza Santa Croce. We highly recommend this experience!

10/10We had the best experience at our dinner. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The steak was one of the best steaks we had ever had in our life. I would recommend this place to any one and might even go back before we have to leave to go back home.

8.5/10I was really curious to find out if the famed Chianina T-Bone was really worth the premium price and the need to share it with another person (the steak was 1.2 kg,,). In my taste it is not. The steak was tasty but not more so than the average T bone in the USA. Moreover, the meat was somewhat chewy - not even the filet part was as tender as I did expect. So, for me it was overall a disappointment.

8/10We ordered bistecca fiorentina. It wasn’t t-bone and it was a bit overdone, but still very delicious. The service was amazing. All the guys did their very best to make us fill welcome. Ambience - tables outside were a bit to small and was very windy (of course not the restaurant fault). Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we recommend this place.

We came early and were the only ones there at the start. Although it seemed quiet, it soon picked up when other guests arrived. The service was very good and the waiter attentive. The Florentine steak was good quality and well cooked. The complementary limoncello was much appreciated. We would recommend this restaurant to steak lovers.

10/10Highly recommended to visit! ☺️ One of the best stakes i had in the world. We had the Chianina IGP T-Bone steak and the quality was stunning. Also the service was very friendly, caring and helped with choosing the best combination from the courses to the beverages. We definitely will come again when we come to florence again.

10/10Really enjoyed our meal with a good view from the outside tables. We had florentine steak which was cooked perfectly. Pasta was also very good. Wine and beer was great and to top it off our waiter Arno was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to him for a nice experience.

7/10We went for the Florentine steak for 2. We saw it was $58 for 2 people but that’s from French cows. It’s $78 for Florentine beef. We ordered it and were surprised our cut came to $100 euros. So beware you are paying for the weight and it can be a bigger cut than you wanted. Service was good.

10/10This restaurant was a pure delight. I took my girlfriend out here for a date and we feasted upon wonderful local delicacies, such as finocchiona salami, pecorino cheese with beet jam and honey, fiorentina steak and ribollita. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the location is very recommended for the golden hour. Definitely would go again!

10/10The Florentine stake was marvellous. We also had a pizza and it was average, but I totally recommend the stake. The bathrooms do need some improvement, but the restaurant looks good. I would go again just for the stake.

8/10Had a lovely meal here, the steak in particular was delicious. We visited on a very warm evening and, given that we had booked so far in advance, it would have been nice to have a table reserved in the bustling and picturesque outdoor area. That said, a very nice restaurant in a great location.

9.5/10Bisteccheria Santa Croce is a hidden gem. We were looking for a highly rated, lower cost, restaurant, that had openings within ~15 minutes of when we wanted to eat and Bisteccheria Santa Croce met all this requirements. We were nervous at first because most of the other restaurants in the area were booked, so we were concerned other people knew something we didn’t…and man were they wrong. The food (truffle ravioli, wild boar pasta, and a stake) were delicious as was the caprese salad. The restaurant also had one of the deepest menus (widest varieties of food), that we’d seen in Florence….and most of it looked really good. The ambience was great and the restaurant was just off to the side of Santa Croce. The only down side was every time we asked our waiter for a suggestion, it was always one of the most expensive items on the menu which made it hard to tell if the item was really that good, or if he was trying to run up the tab. We took his advice in a couple of places & ignored it in others…and had great food and wine regardless. If you’re looking for a mid-priced meal, with a true Italian feel, where you’re likely to get some really good food, I highly recommend Bisteccheria Santa Croce.

6.5/10Pricing was barely acceptable only because of the 30% discount with the Fork. Quality of food was not at the same level of the price.... Bistecca not memorable and the Tagliere didn't have Tiscany specialties like Lardo
