From the moment we walked in, felt like family. Welcomed us with open arms. Service was excellent. Kishan our server was very friendly, polite, and explained everything in detail, as well as the other gentleman that greeted us. Food was exceptionally well. Made a special salad for my wife. Overall I give them a 10 out of 10. Recommend 100%

7.5/10We’ve eaten here many times but each time I think that the ribs will be tasty but they are lacking. The meal is a good value but the ribs are now always tough and there is so little meat that they don’t hold enough of the tasty seasonings they are coated in. Service is great and the ambience is adequate.

We have as started carpaccio and for dinner ribeye and t-bone steak, really delicious all !! For dessert we had creme brûlée :)

9.5/10Our first time at Bistro Bontje but we will be glad to come back! The ambiance is cozy, typical "bistro"-like. Dishes are very good and portions are generous! We recommend the Mixed Fish Grill!

3/10i think from the get-go the host is not VERY welcoming, or just having a whateverly attitude, and kinda has a sarcastic way about laying out the seating for us, since we are last-minute-booked. The food is the biggest lay down, the ribs is dry the steak is mediocre at best and the salmon is like a 6 euro Albert Hijn fillet put it in a big plate and sold me 22 euro. Overall it is overpriced and very mediocre food. Not highly recommended.

9.5/10We had a late lunch on the terrasse out of the usual hours hence the place was empty. We made a good choice with the food, it was great and the waiter was very friendly.

It was our second time at this restaurant; Once again very satisfied and happy with the food, the attention and everything. It is a very cozy place, the food is delicious and well served. I love the attention of the waiters, very friendly. Super recommended and of course we will return.

Very nice and cozy place. Food is very good. Super service. We went when the restaurant is 80% full on Sunday. The waiter gave 100% attention to us and other tables as well. Very good experience!

6/10The spareribs where pretty thick and hard to cut. Spareribs should be slow cooked. The ones we had got too much heat too fast. Sorry , but not well done.

heerlijk gegeten! Quality products, perfect cooked, generous quantity, pleasant service. It's difficult to cook the meat that perfect! Congrats to the guy in the kitchen, both meats were really tasty and well cooked. The waitress-guy also perfect advising us with a perfect result. It's our first dinner in The Hague, and hopefully won't be the last in that place. I can't recommend this place enough!! 10 points!

10/10Good food, pleasant service, good ambiance and price in line with what you expect in a good bistro. The angus beef was excellent, the mix fish grill was good, escargot juicy. My daughter thinks the angus burger is the best burger she ever had. It was my second time here and for sure I will be back. Place is next to Circus Theatre so eat first and enjoy the show afterwards.
