8.5/10Food was great and the employees were very pleasant. However, there was a lot of failures, which is not ok for a restaurant of this price and reputation: - ordered water, a beer and a cocktail for drinks, mussels for entree and ribeye for main dish. - the mussels came and no sign of drinks. I had to ask for the water again. 10 min after the cocktail came and we had to remind them of the beer two times. - we finished eating the mussels and there was no sign of the steak for 1 hour. Also, during this hour we realised other tables that had ordered mussels had fries. We asked about it and got the fries. - after 1 hour something passed we asked about the steak. During this time no one came to take the entree plates nor the pot. It was not pleasant to have dirty dishes and a pot full of shells in table for such a long time. - the steak was delicious, but so much time had gone by the restaurant was already empty. For reference, we arrived at 20h, finished at 22h17, with no time for dessert.

10/10As a part time Amsterdam resident, I have ate at Bistro Bleu many times and can highly recommend! I have also ate at its other affiliated restaurants (Red, Black, and Black & Bleu) but Bistro Bleu is by far my favorite for its delicious food, good service and very cozy vibe!

7.5/10I loved the food but I was given the lunch menù even tho the dinner one is available at lunch too. I find it very interesting how a place with such a good food limit itself by not giving all the options to the customer. I would have definitely tried other or more things if I knew the dinner menù was available

6.5/10The menu is not very accurate, as it does not list the correct ingredients. Because of this, my chicken in wine sauce came with mushrooms, which I am allergic to. Similarly, the onion soup also contained mushrooms, but they were not mentioned on the menu. My husband and son both ordered hamburgers cooked to different preferences, but the service mixed them up and served them the wrong way around. Finally, the discount was not applied automatically.

9/10Steak was super good, probably one of the best for recent years. The fish stew can be less salty. I ate the last bite with so much sea salt. Maybe can be put on the side and let customers decide how much to add. Service is excellent, very welcoming and friendly. Price on the higher end, but understandably for the location. Will come back for sure.

9.5/10We had the hamburger with blue cheese and a steak, both with fries (crispy, really good). The food was well cooked and the service was fast. The restaurant’s first floor is cozy. The staff was really nice, even when asked to put two phones on charge 🔋🔌 The prices are hight tho, one water 1.5L costet 8€…

7.5/10The food was good. It wasn't the best we've ever had, but far from the worst. The service was slow. They didn't seem understaffed and, at times, we actually had different people taking orders and delivering food. However, there were definite lengthy periods of time when no one was stopping by our table. For instance, we had our menus for quite a long period of time before anyone came to take our order. Other groups came in after we did and they received food and drinks before we ever had a chance to place an order.
