10/10Delightful small restaurant with open kitchen and a happy opera loving (and singing along) chef. The best of ingredients providing an exquisite short but high quality menu and extensive wine list. Definitely book in advance, but do try it out, the ambience is worth the visit alone. An excellent restaurant.

5.5/10Great ambience, but the cod dish with polenta I ordered I would not recommend. Polenta was rubbery and the cod was tough and the sauce was simply not good. Disappointing given the ratings and given the great food I've enjoyed from Milan to Parma to Verona. Perhaps a just a bad day for the chef.

10/10Great service and delicious food. Lovely fresh bread and water is complimentary, which is a first in Verona. Have found we usually have a table charge without getting anything for it, even when only having a snack. Light operatic music in the background and well thought out decor to please the eye. We were going back home the next day and were glad we had found a great place to end with a bang.

9/10like many other people we were looking for a good but quick dinner before the Opera started. The Bistrò con Amore is geared for this, and service was expeditious and courteous. The dishes were well presented, not overcomplicated and abundant. The bread that came with the Ibericus anchovies maybe a bit too toasted, while the pasta, maccheroncini with swordfish ragout, was perfect. Our friends appreciated their plates too.

10/10I found this lovely restaurant through Google recommendations. It is located just a few steps from Hotel San Luca, and I must say that it was a great find! The staff were super welcoming, and the service was fantastic. They always tried to meet our needs, and I cannot complain about the food because it was really fabulous and well presented. I highly recommend it for couples and for those who are looking for a romantic and well cosy atmosphere.

10/10The small restaurant exceeded all expectations. The food was incredible , we had the pasticcio and the iberico pork which came with very flavourful potatoes. To top it off the star of the show was the Tiramisu which is a must have if you go. The chef was super welcoming and makes sure all his guests are enjoying their food and drink. Would highly recommend and would go again if we visit Verona again.

5/10Food was mediocre at best and slow service. Very bad tiramisu and pasta dish. Had stomachache all night after dinner. Skip this tourist trap

10/10We came here from New York to see Il Volo and were delighted by the choice of music…Opera! That was an indication that the standard of food would be excellent as well! We had the eggplant which was incredible and melted in our mouth…I had the seabass and Ron had the spaghetti with chili peppers and prawns. Both dishes were amazing! Highly recommend!
