Second time in this restaurant. First visit was excellent but this second one really disappointing. Waiting time was long, even the starters supposed to be served with aperitifs did arrive 45 minutes after we ordered. Same with main plate and in the same time we noticed table around us, where people did arrive after us and where served before us ?!?! We asked the waitress who told us: they do anything in the kitchen … This was not our day …😕

Great Food and very cozy ambience! Nice service! One very little thing: we didn‘t decide immediatly if we want to order dessert - and nobody asked again… but it was late in the evening, so all fine! The wine was also very tasty!

The food was really good, with a variety of delicious dishes that were beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, and the personnel were super kind and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and made our night lovely.

I have visited Bistro Croquant several times now. ALWAYS excellent food, great setting and very friendly staff. Owner is 'super' and has real focus on providing guests with the ultimate (dining) experience ... for me, a 'must visit' every time I am in Maastricht!

Absolutely lovely and novel, for vegetarians especially. Single point of improvement could be the acoustics, which could benefit from a bit of padding somewhere. Besides that 10/10

The ambiance was really nice and clean. Our server Stephen (that's totally not how it was spelled but how it sounded), was really good. He suggested nice wines that complimented the food. The food was excellent small bites intended to share like Tapas style. We had the Pork Belly, the Veg Risotto, the Eggplant and several more and they were all unique delicious flavors. At the end our server brought us a chocolate truffle (we aren't dessert people usually) and we loved it!! So good. I would highly recommend checking it out.

A small restaurant hidden under the city walls with a very friendly owner and innovative dishes. We were there before the concert and wish we had had time to linger and enjoy more of the food delights. The cheese board looked delicious. The short wine list was interesting.
