10/10I have visited Bistro Croquant several times now. ALWAYS excellent food, great setting and very friendly staff. Owner is 'super' and has real focus on providing guests with the ultimate (dining) experience ... for me, a 'must visit' every time I am in Maastricht!

10/10A highlight of our trip to Maastricht! The staff was so lovely and the food was excellent, especially the beef tartare and beetroot.

9.5/10Absolutely lovely and novel, for vegetarians especially. Single point of improvement could be the acoustics, which could benefit from a bit of padding somewhere. Besides that 10/10

10/10The ambiance was really nice and clean. Our server Stephen (that's totally not how it was spelled but how it sounded), was really good. He suggested nice wines that complimented the food. The food was excellent small bites intended to share like Tapas style. We had the Pork Belly, the Veg Risotto, the Eggplant and several more and they were all unique delicious flavors. At the end our server brought us a chocolate truffle (we aren't dessert people usually) and we loved it!! So good. I would highly recommend checking it out.

10/10A small restaurant hidden under the city walls with a very friendly owner and innovative dishes. We were there before the concert and wish we had had time to linger and enjoy more of the food delights. The cheese board looked delicious. The short wine list was interesting.

4.5/10Based on the ratings I expected more, Food was ok but not stellar. One dish very good. Service was friendly but just not up to par. Not knowing certain ingedrients, Leaving empty glasses on the small table (you get several dishes so one needs some space), not knowing allthe cheeses for desert (there were 3). Friendly but not in line with the rating. It seems that for such a busy restaurant there is not enough staff.

9.5/10First off, the service was exceptional. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. He took time to talk us through the menu and offered recommendations. We ordered a bottle of chardonnay off the wine list, but instead he brought us 3 different chardonnays to try first. We even got some freebies of a nice glass of syrah and a digestive. The food was great too - lots of variety and some really unusual dishes that you probably won't find elsewhere. Will definitely be back.

10/10Absolutely love this bistro, amazing flavours in a dutch kroket!. Today we had aside from the bitterballen and kroket also the amazing fries and dish of the day. It was a lam ‘burger’ again absolutely delicious!. Nice wines by the glass and great recommendations.

8/10Not your run of the mill bistro, this in the category "and now for something completely different". Really great croquettes with the most diverse and tastefulk fillings as well as more traditional ones. The french fries are the best I aver had in a restaurant, mayonaise was great (truffle is favourite). Will definetely come back here.

10/10Superb little eatery, with fantastic Dutch food and fabulous atmosphere with Dutch music also. We were a bit confused what and how much to order at first but we were given the advice of 3 dishes to share between the 2 of us, which turned out perfect. Each dish tasted wonderful. Even our drinks were presented in a beautiful glass. We were really glad we chose this restaurant.

10/10Lovely restaurant, in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Vrijthof. We arrived a little bit early and they were still setting up before opening, but we had a warm welcome from the host and allowed to sit outside and order some drinks. Lovely relaxed dining, very attentive and helpful staff and host. No starters or mains, just lots of delicious little dishes, very tasty croquettes and it was great fun to share dishes too. Not too pricey, I thought all in all good value for money.
