8.5/10The atmosphere was great, the food was good. A little problem with not being able to get pasta instead of fries in the kids menu but other than that a very nice place and great for kids who can see the horses.

10/10Second visit, very good meal, cosy warm stove, this time we were the only guests, Quite expensive but good food, the Fork discount makes it a better deal. Worth discovering.

5/10I will never come again either recommend this to anyone. To start with, we wait 20 mins before being served. Menu was not updated - if it is an old menu, tell us which one is no longer available. But the waiter prefer to talk about menus that we dont really interested and encouraging us to order things we do not prefer. We ordered 5 main dishes and were surprised with the quantity. Absolutely overpriced for that quantity and we left still feeling hungry. I have been to many restaurants in Geneve, and honestly this one is the smallest and ridiculous size of a dish I have ever seen. Some menu were written "with toast and fries" and it came with 2 pieces of tiny toasts without any fries, and perhaps 3 spoons of the main menu. Similar with their pork dish, it came our not a whole piece of porc, but a cut into pieces porc - perhaps about 6 pieces. Poke bowl was disappointing. Simply rice with oil, and a few pieces of salmon. What a joke.

10/10Title: A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering - Bistro du Fer à Cheval Navigating our way to Bistro du Fer à Cheval, formerly known as Manège de la Pallanterie, was a tiny adventure in itself. The signage still references the old name, which might initially confuse a newcomer. But here’s a tip: make a turn once you spot the previous name, and a parking lot will present itself. A gate stands ahead - venture through, and you’ll be welcomed by the sight of the charming restaurant. Our culinary journey at Bistro du Fer à Cheval was marked by tantalizing flavors, each more exquisite than the last. My husband savored the Tagliata de faux filet de bœuf grillé au beurre du manège, cooked to perfection, the beef melting in his mouth. My daughter delighted in her spaghetti carbonara, a classic done right, the creamy sauce balancing the hearty bacon beautifully. I treated myself to Le fameux cheeseburger frites, the juicy beef patty encased in a toasted bun, accompanied by crispy, golden fries - simply delectable. The value for money is unbeatable. High quality, fresh ingredients used in sophisticated recipes that hit all the right notes, without burning a hole in your wallet. The portions were generous, leaving us satisfied and content. The ambiance of Bistro du Fer à Cheval enhanced our dining experience manifold. Its comfortable elegance, the welcoming glow of the lights, and the soft chatter around us created a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a family dinner. What truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional customer service. The staff catered to our needs with a genuine warmth and professionalism that made us feel cherished. They were attentive, well-versed with the menu, and made sure our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Our visit to Bistro du Fer à Cheval was a delightful journey of culinary excellence, a testament to the mastery of French cuisine. The slight initial navigation challenge pales in comparison to the memorable dining experience waiting on the other side of the gate. Definitely a place to visit with family for a lovely dining experience!
