10/10A very nice and cozy place with very professional staff and excellent food. Only regret that there are customers who bring their dogs to the restaurant. these animals do not belong in a restaurant.

10/10We had a wonderful evening and one of the best carpaccios ever. Succulent tenderloin and delicious French fries. Nice setting and very kind service. A place to go.

10/10I organized a group of 10 as a birthday celebration and we were all delighted with both the quality of the food and the service. Normally, when I come with my wife, we have one of the steaks, which are their specialty, but this time we also had 2 vegetarians and some who preferred fish, so it was a good chance see the rest of the menu. All praised their individual choices, so the full menu passed the test. Nice range of starters and desserts – if you have space. Cost was quite reasonable at €500 for 10 x 2 courses several with 3, 5 bottles of wine, water, coffees and soft drinks. If you have not tried this restaurant yet I would encourage you to do so. We will certainly be back.

10/10An excellent addition to the restaurants in Warmond. This was our first visit to this excellent restaurant which, coincidentally is located on the premises previously owned by a relative of my wife and a few doors down from where her Oma lived. Whilst the menu is varied we came specifically to sample the steaks. They were awarded first prize for steaks in the Leiden region and from our experience it is fully justified. The meat is locally sourced, we use the same butcher, and the steaks (and other food) are cooked in a specially built stone oven that is wood fired. This I was pleased to be given an opportunity to examine. The steaks are seared in the extremely hot part and finished in a slightly cooler part (temperatures measured by a thermal device, truly a case of art meets science). The décor has retained the original wood paneling and stained-glass windows at the front of the restaurant. The rear is lighter with sky light. Personally, I would ask for a table next to the windows at the front – but as I say it’s personal. The service was excellent and well informed. Wines also good & reasonably priced. No negative points at all – perhaps there could be more choice of wine by the glass but that is a minor niggle. Our first visit but won’t be our last. We definitely recommend it.
