10/10The owner is funny, friendly and efficient. He knows his customers even if you only go there once in a while and welcomes you always. Food is hot when it gets to your table, quality products are being served and it goes as fast or as slow as you want - if in a hurry, just tell them! A wonderful garden at the back completes the experience. Thank you Gilles!

9/10Good atmosphere. Chasse was not the best I ever had, but overall a good enough meal, good live French chanson entertainment, and friendly service.

9.5/10This really is an insider's tip. This unassuming restaurant is an old fashioned "bistrot de la gare", with a passionate owner and a very good chef. The food was fresh (fish caught that morning from the lake), prepared in an interesting manner and delicious. The prices are reasonable for Switzerland. The whole experience was very pleasant.

10/10We decided to pit stop on the way from Interloken to Geneva and picked this spot based on reviews. Hands down, this was one of the best meals we’ve had during our two week stay in France, Italy and Switzerland. Gilles our host and proprietor was gracious and welcoming. The plat du jour was excellent. One of the most authentic meals of our journey. We’ll return to this area just to dine here again. If you’re looking for the real deal, look no further. 5 stars

9/10After an afternoon exploring Schilliger garden centre we were hungry and looking for an early dinner. We explored the internet and decided to book Bistro at Quai 1 with open minds and a small sense of adventure. The restaurant is right next to the station at the end of a small street with parking. We ate in the garden terrace, which is simple and naturally shaded with trees. The garden is quiet and private but from a distance you can mark the passing time from the sound of the trains. To begin with I had the Thai Salad which was excellent Spicy and fresh very enjoyable. My wife had melon with granite de Melon and Parma ham which apart from being tasty and fresh, was a little too big for her which is an advantage for me! An excellent start. The mains were also good we both had the Entrecôte de boeuf Parisian, correctly cooked as ordered tasty and juicy!! Served with locally sourced vegetables and wine. For desert we shared a raspberry and pistachio tart. A good finish to a tasty meal. An ideal place for a romantic meal or eating with family and friends. Great food in a simple setting with friendly service!

9.5/10What an amazing discovery !! This little restaurant was the perfect one for our last dinner in the region. The food was amazing, the wine very good and our host was really great. We enjoyed every moment and can only recommend it. We know that we will have a dinner or lunch there next time we are in Canton de Vaud.

8/10Staff friendly, food of good quality, location not really beautiful but strategically near the rail station and in the centre of the village. Good place for families and for lunch in a working day.
