6/10Our experience at this restaurant was odd, the pasta course was sublime, a fantastic modern take on carbonara but my fish in broth was raw in the middle, kefir desert very nice, snacks were fun, bread lovely, lentils and aubergine underwhelming. I was asked if I had not liked the fish, I confirmed no it was not to my liking and after this service became petulant. We waited 30 minutes for our desert and were not offered coffee or a digestif, nor incidentally were we offered an aperitif on arrival. All in all not a Michelin 1star experience

+1We had a 5 course dinner on Valentine's Day. The service was great, they timed exactly the dishes, had a great expertise in everything that was served. I was really surprised by the taste of the lentils, I never thought lentils dish can taste so good! I will definitely recommend my friends and family to visit.

9.5/10I could not have asked for a better experience. We went there for dinner and decided to go for the more extensive tasting menu. I loved that we had no idea what it would be. I realise the concept may not be to everyone's taste, but take a leap of faith. It's worth it! Every item was well executed and interesting. The service was very good and at a better pace than other fine dining restaurants I've been to before. Something I've not seen mentioned is that the place is beyond spotless. The decor is very sleek. I know some people complained about the à la carte menu. I obviously cannot speak on this. The one thing I did find odd was the cacio e peppe taster we were given after the dessert course. But it made me realise the one I had at another restaurant, a supposedly good one, was absolutely sub standard. So even this was a lesson and a win. I recommend Bistrot64 but come with a curious and open mind. They are on to great things.

10/10We heard of this restaurant from a Stanley Tucci show and knew we wanted to try it on our trip to Rome. We weren’t disappointed at all! We decided to both experience one of the offerings “The 10 Years” which is a sampling of 5 offerings from the chef’s menu, along with some surprises. There is also a choice of 8 courses. We were there 3 hours from start to finish. The entire wait staff participates in the service for every course. This exceeded our expectations!

10/10Outstanding and attentive service -Lovely welcome and very helpful staff. Excellent recommendation with the wine and quality fizz Franciacorta aperitif. We chose from the A la carte menu, with fabulous mix of flavours and excellent presentation. The traditional Roman First dishes of Caico a pepe and Carbonara were fabulous. Excellent fish for mains and again, an amazing mix of flavours with dessert....Black garlic with creme brulee! Will definitely be back

2/10The biggest culinary disappointment I experienced, 7 dishes that were a succession of disappointments, none of the dishes were tasty and the feeling was that the appearance and the ceremony were more important than the taste, not recommended

9.5/10This was a great find the guide said it was worth the drive and we agree. The building is nondescript outside but very clean and tidy inside . The food and service were impeccable main course was the best beef we’ve had in Rome. Dessert was also a stand out and very sweet . Overall a very nice night out and reasonably priced too.

+3This was a really disappointing meal, in a city where amazing food is around every corner. We had the 5 course tasting menu with carbonara as an extra starter. Textures were off throughout every dish - amuse bouche tart cases were too thick, too much gelatine, tortellini were dry and undercooked, pre-dessert apple dish was somehow mushy and underwhelming at the same time. Service was also unprofessional - dishes that we barely touched and no one asked. I gave feedback on the pasta and the waiter just said, ok. It’s very disappointing for a restaurant to not take any feedback and I believe this restaurant will get worst as a result. The decor and ambience were also awful - mint green and brown should only be paired in ice cream. It was probably so quiet in the restaurant because everyone hated the food so much. What a shame - as someone who loves visiting Italy and Japan I was expecting a lot from this meal. There was no innovation, no heartiness, no delicacy, no precision, but an air of pompousness worst than Michelin restaurants except this is in a common setting. We saw a couple came in, sat down, then walked out. Having approached the end of our meal, we watched them exit with envy.

4.5/10While the main courses were good, the small courses didn’t connect at all and were not special. The maître d’hôtel was not very friendly, and very little description was given of each dish, and wine pairing was not well timed with dishes. Price was generally ok but should include cacio e Pepe, their stronger, signature dish. Lighting way too strong and decor was strange and seating very uncomfortable.

10/10Bistrot 64 exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly, kind and thoughtful. The sommelier was outstanding, and the wine pairings were perfect. The tasting menu was superb! As I have a nut allergy they accommodated with a few substitutions to the tasting, Everything I tasted was exquisite! I highly recommend visiting Bistrot 64 when you are in Rome, it is definitely worth the trip! Brava!

10/10We enjoyed a wonderful meal here upon recommendation from ViaMichelin and after seeing the Chef featured on Stanley Tucci’s recent program about Italian cuisine. We were beautifully looked after by kind and attentive staff, and every element of the tasting menu was exquisite.

10/10Quite simply the best meal we’ve ever had, and by a huge margin. The food, service, and atmosphere was - to our minds - nothing short of perfect. The chef is a genius and a master of his craft. The wine pairing is a must. If you want to feel like you’re eating the best food on earth and being treated like royalty, you need to go to Bistrot64.

We have been to Michelin star restaurants in Venice, Barcelona, and Paris. Our experience at Bistrot 64 was the best; it was magical. The service was top notch, the food was delicious, beautiful and innovative. To top it all off, we were honored to meet Chef Noda who is not only a genius, but humble.

10/10The food was fantastic. The service amazing. The atmosphere perfect. This restaurant is well worth a visit and is great value for money. The quality of the food and its presentation is second to none. Just one comment please change your opening times on your website. It says open at 6.30pm but when we got there we had to wait outside till they open at 7.30pm. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

3.5/10On the day of the order we asked to change the arrival and were answered in the affirmative, we arrived at the place at noon, we ordered from the menu a tasting of 5 dishes. Most of the dishes were unbalanced, too salty or too sour. It took too long between taking out the dishes given the fact that there was no pressure and the restaurant was almost empty. After we did not touch one of the dishes at all the waiter asked if we liked it and we said no, he asked if he could take out another dish instead and after a few minutes he came back and said that the kitchen area was already closed so he had nothing to do for us. In addition to the whole experience there was at the table next to us a little girl who made a lot of mess, which added to the general discomfort, I think it was advisable to limit the entrance with children for the experience of the other customers. Bottom line, an unsuccessful experience

6.5/10The ambience of this restaurant is very peaceful and calm. The wine/liquor list is excellent. But the food did not live up to expectations. I was frankly disappointed....and for the price, it definitely was not worth it.

Fine restaurant but I disagree with the Michelin Star. Quantities are small and the food is just ok. In Roma, you’d rather go to less formal restaurants and have a great dinner.
