Fantastic food and lovely friendly staff. We had the seafood pie, monkfish , sea bass and squid plus chocolate mousse for dessert. Was all top class. Would definitely go back. They also accommodated our dog

Using the Likert scale (3 is normal expectancy, 4 better than, 5 much better than etc), I found the following Welcome: 5 genuine friendly and attentive, reservation from TheFork all in order Service attention: 5 prompt and friendly, and competent Food products: 4 excellent taste, made on site (especially shrimp croquettes, mayonnaise and chocolate mousse), well presented Value for money: upmarket, yet reasonable We ordered the Menu du Chef with croquettes crevettes, and sole meunière (very classic indeed) with deserts being crème brûlée and mousse au chocolat) accompanied by Kir and Verdejo white wine. Delighted and would definitely return. Cost per pax today was 45€

The menu of the chef (€35 pp) is excellent! Oostende however is a busy place with many people.
