The filet de boeuf avec sauce au poivre was amazingly delicious! By far, the best meal I had in Paris. Excellent service!

+1Food and ambient were great! The waiter, Nuno Fernandes, gave us a very professional and entertaining welcome. We’d like to thank him for the way he looked after us, which really added to our birthday celebration. It was nice to find a fellow countryman in the middle of Paris, receiving us in the Bistrot de Fables.

The wait staff were helpful. The food was outstanding, I had the best steak I have ever had, it was memorable. We made reservations online and that was a plus. The experience was magnificent!

This restaurant from a protégé of Christian constant was lovely tonight. I had the clams and muscles gratinee and the veal blanquette. This inspired me to make these when I get home to San Francisco. Over 20 years ago, I went to a couple of Christian Constant’s restaurants. He has wonderful legacy with the chef’s cooking today.

+2We got to sit downstairs by the bar and it was a great atmosphere. Our waiter was very nice and accommodated our English-only table. The food was excellent and the drinks were equally tasty. I hopped online to snag a last minute reservation. This was is worth planning a visit!

The entire three course meal was amazing. What stood out we're the duck breast, green curry coquilles and the onion soup. Service was also great.

We visited Bistrot des Fables as it has a bib gormand rating in Michelin. . The duck breast salad starter was deliceous but the mains failed to impress especially the blanquet de veau which was tastless. The scallops were a better choice but were not cooked optimally. The restaurant seemed to be surprised to be asked for a cheese plate and the quality offered was surprisingly poor. Service was good and the waitrons were helpful

We’ve reviewed seasoning on the blanquette, scallop timing/temperature, and how we present and source our cheese selection. This is a very good bistrot located near the Champs de Mars and The Eiffel Tower. The bistrot offers a large selection of classic enteés and plats. We had the delicious onion soup for our enttreés, and the veau planchards and the magret du canard as plats, both of which well prepared and delicious. The serious was friendly and professional. Our only complaint is the tables are set very tight, but then this is a bistrot.

Good salad starter and decent French onion soup. Roasted duck breast was solid but the croque monsieur was awful. Ok wines by the glass. Probably on par for the restaurants in the vicinity.
