The whole evening was amazing - from the greeting until the desert. One of the best Beef Tartar and Onion Soup we had - the meat perfect à Point - and with the food amazing waiter along a friendly Manager and the Barkeeper.

It was a really fun place, with an authentic zinc bar and waiters with attitude (a good thing!). But the food was barely passable, the duck confit lacking its mandatory crisp skin and the Cordon Bleu dry and flavorless. There are too many better options in Paris to spend €100 on dinner to go back.

We had an amazing experience at the Bistro! Everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival – our table was set in a beautiful, cozy spot, and there was even a real candle on the table, adding a romantic and warm atmosphere to the evening. The dishes were absolutely exceptional – not only delicious but beautifully presented. If you're craving authentic French cuisine, this is the place to go! The staff were outstanding – attentive and friendly. Alexander, in particular, was very polite and knowledgeable, explaining the dishes and recommending the best options. It felt like true professionalism in every interaction. We were absolutely thrilled with our dinner, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Server was really nice and food was very good. Was occasionally loud but the windows were closed that night due to rain otherwise would have been fine. Only downside is they didn’t apply the Fork discount we had and we didn’t want to make a fuss since it would only have been about €10.

Food was good but as a Fork reservation, we got a smaller portion than what a neighboring table got. The waiter refused to speak in French. Annoying.

We had a great experience dining here. The waiters were welcoming, making us feel at ease right away. They offered great recommendations and every suggestion turned out to be spot on. The ambience is warm and elegant without feeling pretentious, which made the evening even more enjoyable. As for the food, the quality was outstanding. A good combination of excellent service, atmosphere and cuisine.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful meal at Bistrot Gisèle. The lamb dish with aubergine side, duck confit and our child’s pain perdu were all amazing, and the staff were welcoming and patient with us, helping us to practice our French and even advising us on when and how to properly close out our meal. It was a great first dining experience in Paris and one we will remember! We would certainly return!

The food was good! The discount with TheFork make it worth it. The waiters, the one with glasses is amazing, very attentive and thanks to him our experience was good. But the bold one that is outside is a terrible waiter, very bad service for his side.

I love the pedestrian only cobblestone street that Cafe Gisele faces- less crowds and no motor exhaust fumes. We enjoyed the food and friendly service. The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned and portions were good. The server was friendly and efficient. Plus The Fork promotion made it a great value. Highly recommend!

Escargot were amazing and the chocolate mousse was a showstopping way to end the meal - there were 3 of us but it was enough for 4, served in an oversized lion head bowl!
