I think this restaurant is still experiencing teething problems. It was quite empty while next door (run by the people who formerly had this site) was heaving! We ordered a starter to share, a pizza and a main chicken dish - they don't offer side dishes but i asked for some vegetables. Then the chaos began. They tried to deliver the pizza before the starter..... we objected and the starter (mixed salumi) came without plates for us to share. However, a good sized portion. When the main courses were delivered, the pizza was lukewarm. The vegetables were clearly reheated from frozen and I suspect the chicken was bought in as cooked pieces and then finished with a sauce. There was mashed potato which tasted odd and i did not eat. We had ordered a bottle of white wine but they tried to serve a glass of red to my husband! The servers were polite and were obviously trying to do the right thing but the whole experience was like an episode of "Fawlty Towers".

Sadly we had hopes that this would prove a positive replacement for Il Chiostro but the whole experience was very poor. Won’t be going again
