First night in Amsterdam and dinner for 2 did not disappoint. Food and drinks served in a timely manner. The food was good, as were the choice of drinks. No room for desert unfortunately.

Black is always a certainty. A very nice and elegant restaurant in the city center of Amsterdam. The only drawback is that it is a bit crowded.

Booked Black as there was an excellent offer on. Warm welcome on arrival and seated quickly. Restaurant was busy, but didn't feel crowded. Service could have been better (had to ask about the specials and our waiter had to go to the kitchen to check what they were). Food was excellent and great value with the offer. Would go back again.

The food was generally delicious, but it was a bit disappointing that the steak was not well-matched and the gap between the tables was too narrow. The service of the staff was friendly and very good

An excellent meal and fantastic ambiance and service, will definitely be going back. The ribeye for 2 was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked. Great value for a high quality cut. And the Caeser salad was one of the best I've had here - just be aware, it's really a meal salad with a lot of grilled chicken and bacon in it. We got 2 of them and split as an appetizer for 7 people. Got a bottle of the Primativo to go with dinner and it was very good and really well priced as well. AN excellent value high-quality steak place in the heart of Amsterdam, really glad we found it!!

I like first time before. This time meat a bit too dry and less saus at the side. Also get seat very close with bin and kitchen. Service good always

The food was good but even though the place was half empty you offered us weird seats. And then you kept bumping into me while you were passing behind me. The couple of decent seats you did not let us sit were still empty as we were leaving.

Waitress didn't tell us the specials. She then tried to open the bottle of wine which she couldn't do and had to get help. She then spilled the wine on the table. She didn't know what one dish was and had to go and ask even though the menu was quite short. Seriously Resteraunt Black train your staff before letting them loose on the customers.

A very pleasant evening in this beautiful restaurant. The service is kind and professional, the quality of the food is very good, and the restaurant’s atmosphere is lovely. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The steaks were cooked perfectly and the fries and veggies were delicous. Service was great as well. Overall a great dinner- thank you Black team !

The food was not great , we ordered half lobster which was not very warm and okayish , another fish main course was also not that fresh and appetizing , only scallop was fine And besides , wine was just okay also cheese platter nothing gave wow feeling ,So if you ask me if I would go again , I would pass , for one time with Fork discount it was okay otherwise Its even expensive for the price

We had a lovely early dinner there. Had a theater thing afterwards. Food came quickly. The tournedos was very good, super tender meat. We had asked for it to be cooked rare, and it could have come a little redder, but it was so good that we didn't mind. The Brussels sprouts were amazing!

What a great place! Very charming setting, delicious food and great service! We enjoyed everything, grilled shrimp as a starter, delicious angus burgers and amazing charred Brussels sprouts with pomegranate seeds. Will definitely be back!

amazing steak. super delicious! only thing is the sound; its quite noisy and the music is turned up too high to have a decent conversation. other than that it was amazing!

Enjoyed the food, 1 medium rare steak was close to rare and extra fries took long, but generally we enjoyed our food and night.
