We booked for 3. Two of us arrived first and were seated. We spent about 10 minutes looking at the menu and chatting, but no one came to take our order. We walked up to the waiter to let him know we were ready, but he still didn’t come. Our reservation was at 19:00, and he only took our order around 19:40. I’m not exaggerating. There’s a 2-hour seating limit, yet no one even offered water or asked if we wanted drinks while we waited. A table that arrived 30 minutes after us had their order taken and food served before us. When our food finally came, they forgot the rice for my friend’s curry. She waited 15 minutes, and by then the curry was cold. Really disappointing. The food is good, but the service was poor and disrespectful.

Dinner at Blue Chili Thai was a wonderful experience. The Sunset in Chiang Mai was a refreshing start, the Phad Graprao with Tofu stood out with its bold flavors, and the Phat Kuay-Teow Kee Mao (Vegan + Tofu) was hearty and perfectly cooked. The Por Pia Sod added a fresh and light touch to the meal. Everything was well-prepared, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere made it even better. A place worth coming back to.

Food is as authentic as one can expect, with nice flavour of Thai cuisine, using fresh herbs and ingredients. It was a busy night and full house with diners. Amazed that the 2 staffs were able to cope well. Nice to hear from the owner about her experience living in Stockholm, Sweden. I was surprised that Blue Chili Thai Restaurant has not been given the “Thai Select” recognition. Will not hesitate to return back for another meal again.

100% recommended. Traditional thai cuisine in a well decorated & cozy restaurant with very lovely waiters. We ordered Pad thai, red curry and tom yam soup. Everything was cooked with fresh ingredients and with more than generous portions. For now, the best thai restaurant I've been outside Thailand. We would love to come back again.

We were in Stockholm for vacay, didn't know where to eat so I used the fork to find a place as I do sometimes in my home country. We had the beef as a main, the pork as an appetizer and a starter + dessert of the day and also the matcha drink and the home cocktail, we liked everything especially the beef, the pork and the matcha drink!

Great restaurant. Request Thai spiciness if you want it to taste like in Thailand. Lab Gai tested like in Roi Et and the bbq squid like on Koh Chang. Good value for money.
