Clearly this an owner run business and the passion and enthusiasm for all they do shines through. Great advice on a wine to accompany our meal resisting the temptation to oversell. We had high expectations having read other reviews and we were not disappointed.

The waiter took the time to explain the different dishes and helped us choose an appropriate wine to our liking. He even spoke a very good french and made sure we understood everything the restaurant had to offer. Vers friendly place with charm and good ambiance. The meals were awesome. A very nice evening! Small place, but nice ambiance. Good was delicious, we had the shrimp croquettes and shrimp scampi, both really good, but the croquettes were out of this world. We also had the fish of the day which was also delicious. Everything we ate was really good! Would definitely recommend this one!

The staff is kind and knowledgeable, seemed to be house proud and loving their jobs. The kitchen, which is visible, displayed an enviable joie de vivre and I wish I could have joined them for a glass of wine after hours. However, perhaps there was just a little too much joie de vivre going on because the food was, at best, ok (both my courses had a funky aftertaste I couldn't wrap my head around), and, in the case of the chefs chicken special, inedible (SALT!!!) Clearly, no one bothered tasting what was being sent out. Overconfident? Love your job, take pride in your skills, but please do not rest on your laurels in this very fickle industry.

The owners were hands on and engaging. Great wine pairings and recommendations. The leek appetizer, croquette appetizer and octopus salad were excellent. We enjoyed the Black Pork Neck and Cod entrees. The restaurant only has a few tables so the ambiance is quaint and intimate. This is easily a 5-star restaurant.

High quality food across different dishes amongst our 4 diners. Slightly abrupt in suggesting we choose wines after food (so he could match wines to food) but no more issues as meal progressed and both food and his choice of wines were excellent. Chicken, codfish and fish of day all really good as was Octopus and leek starters and drunken pear dessert. 4 diners, wines, 2 starters, 4 mains, 2 desserts, 3 coffees. 106 Euros (with The Fork discount) Fantastic value. Highly recommended.

Nice little restaurant at the top of a hill (lots of steps up - gave us a good appetite!) Good wine by the glass. Food was really well cooked - my pork steak was absolutely delicious and m6 husband really enjoyed his steak. We would recommend this place

Service is very friendly and efficient, wine is great and a for all taste. Overall, the restaurant offers a very pleasant experience between dishes and wines typical from Portugal, and the price is more than fair for what was ordered. However, in my opinion, gastronomy I tried (seafood) could be better prepared given the good quality of the ingredients.

This was a tiny restaurant in a back lane in Lisbon that certainly punched well above its size. The food was great and reasonably priced. The wine was chosen well to go with the food and sold by the glass so you could finish the meal off in style with a glass of port. The star of the meal for me was the drunken pear which really was excellent.

I was more than impressed by the restaurant. The service was super super friendly and the food tasted amazing. I can highly recommend the Açorda de Camarão and the Bacalhau à Boca.
