6.5/10Tapas bar so do not expect big portions. That is the concept for sharing food and it is fine. Food is good but not excellent. Without the fork discount it is not worth to go. Little nice location.

10/10The boca bar is located at a beautiful spot, and has a terrace located on the canal. However, we got seated inside the beautiful cozy bar. It is quite small inside, but that absolutely does justice to the vibe of the bar. Delicate music in the background, and liked the seating at the open bar as well. We started with a delicious cocktail and the mixed pinchos, with the homemade fries (those are sooo good!). Next we had lamb, pork, steak and salmon. We decided to share our dishes, because we love the tapas idea. We decided on a different cocktail every round. We definetly advise to have just 2 dishes each round, because the size of the tables are quite small. However, dont get fooled by the tapa in the name. The presentation of the food is absolutely exceptional, thr taste is amazing and all in all, its high end food, service and atmosphere for an amazing price.

7/10Very good fish&seafood plates, well presented, decent pinxtos, though juicy dishes could come with a slice of bread for finish off and to break the taste. Wines could be a class better, more Spanish selección from the coasts so it ties it all better together. Few 2p tables which contributes to the cozy ambiance.

10/10The guy who served us was extremely attentive and made us feel so welcomed. The food was very nice and with various options. Great for a friendly gathering even for very big groups (we were in 9). Will come back again.

9/10Lovely intimate spot for some drinks and snacks. We had the pintxos platter for six, which was delicious, and then some of the bigger dishes. The steak tartare was particularly excellent!

10/10Absolutely fabulous. The food was gorgeous and the staff were excellent. The atmosphere was modern and cozy with a cool vibe. I would highly reccomend the gambas and the ossenhas.

8/10Delightful cafe, nice snacks and well presented. Service wasn’t great and it was difficult to get attention . Although I had booked, no one seemed interested so just took a table. I had the tapas and with a few beers it will be hard to go too far wrong

7/10We were 15mn late to the reservation and the waiter actually scolded us right at the entrance for not informing him we will be a little later than expected! We got a bit late looking for parking and finding the place (first time in Haarlem), but the way he seemed annoyed at us the moment we entered was quite shocking! The moment we were seated, he informed us in a very condescending tone that the table in reserved for 1.5 hours and we lost 15-20 minutes already ... when we informed him back that the table is for 2.5 hours (as mentioned on The Fork at the time of booking), he behaved like it was news to him and went to verify it with his reservation book, and when we showed him the email with 2.5 hours on the booking he acted 'surprised' and said " oh we will accommodate you guys, no worries" . Ummm no... YOU ARE NOT ACCOMMODATING US, we actually have a booking for this long! Apart from THAT shockingly rude start to the evening, the food was simply amazing! Perfect portion sizes and wine pairings ... and the dessert of the month was out-of-the-world! Highly recommend this place -- just make sure you are on time haha!

9.5/10Great place, good food, caring service... what else? My two friends and I had a plate of 12 pinxtos to share, a plate each, fries to share, a bottle of wine and three amazing lava cakes for 37 € pp. We definitely recommend it!

10/10Perfect as always. The staff is really welcoming and friendly, a lot of little attention even for our dog. The food is super good and high quality for a totally reasonnable price. I highly recommend.

9/10We had a great time! The service was great polite and Respectful. Only the prices were a little steep and not what was mentioned in the internet. Also there is no drink menu so you order a wine but you don’t know his price. Other than that we had a great time and the view is priceless !

9.5/10Very nice spot! The food was an adventure, really tasty and original! And you can see how it's made, as they have an open kitchen. The service was great, good people with good humor. It's a small restaurant, but the high tables make it feel spacious nonetheless. I ate here with my family, but this is also a nice spot for a dinner for two!

7/10Food was really average. Paella was very small and tasteless. Meat dishes was both drowned in soya sauce. Prawns was undercooked. Unfortunate.

8.5/10Nice little restaurant along the river Spaarne. We had a table outside and were immediately served. Very friendly staff ! We ordered first 4 tapas and later 3 more. The food was really good and we especially enjoyed the makrell. Nice place, would go again !

10/10When we arrived (20.50, the booking was at 21.00) they didn’t have the table ready, but we only waited for 15 mins, after that I need to say that the food was amazing but the service even better, instead of closing the kitchen at 22.00 they left it open until we left because of the “table issue”, they treated us super good, I’m pretty sure I’ll be back there! Big thank you guys!! ????

8.5/10Really nice food and great service but the portions could be a little bigger. I understand that fresh and nice products are expensive but a tapa with piri piri shrimps that's had 3 shrimp not even Gambas ( bigger shrimps) for almost 10€ seems a bit to much... but everything was really yummy. We had a lovely time and the service was really attentiff, and we were a table of 4 adults and 6 children! Just wished the portions were s little bigger.

9.5/10This was our first time at Boca, not the last one for sure, great tapas, full of taste, great to be able to combine small courses form around the world instead of the normally only Spanish. Perhaps some more cocktails and improve the level of some of the tapas will make this place even better.
