3.5/10The food was not properly cooked, so we had to send it back to the kitchen. The French fries were greasy, and the salad was overwhelmed with vinegar. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

8/10It was our 2nd time, first for lunch (was excellent) now for dinner.The food was very good but due to the noice of some big groups it was difficult to have a nice conversation at our own table. The staff was friendly but a bit to busy running around without noticing the guests.

10/10Made my sisters 60th special went out the way even thou they where busy to sing happy birthday and delivered a cake with a candle and a glass of champagne. Thank you team 1999..

8.5/10We enjoyed the food and wine. Starter bread was excellent and the garlic paste was to die for. Only thing that stops me giving 10/10 is that the meat that I ordered medium was medium minus, if not completely raw in the middle. We had to trade meats with wife because her medium was really medium.

10/10Was able to get a table for two earlier in the week as a walk-in. It was so Howe returned again later in the week. Amazing meat and sides. Great small quaint atmosphere that makes Alicante so wonderful. We will return on our next trip.

8/10Very busy and seems popular not only among the tourists but also some locals. Good quality food and very reasonable prices. A bit messy - we were seated by the bar counter where dirty glasses were piled up, but the staff was super busy so I understand this might have been a backlog from the previous hours.. loved the sides, mixed paella was also very good, but the chicken thighs were chopped whole and little bits of bones were left in the rice even (I’m not sure if this is a traditional way, I just expected the chicken to be boneless) Overall we spent €60 for two of us (no wine) but you can easily spend more, we’re just not big eaters ;)

9.5/10A great find. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. If you are in Alicante it would be a huge mistake not to get a table at Bogeguita 1999. We definitily will come back next time we are in town.

8/10We went here after reading the reviews . Food was delicious - I had the steak and my daughter had the cod, washed down with the proto red . All Tasty and good quality . Service was friendly and efficient . Will return .

9/10Food was actually unbelievably good! They also accommodated a last minute change of time from 7:30-9:30pm for 12 people. Paella was extremely good & highly recommended. Did take a bit of time for food to come out but it was 9:30pm on a Friday so cannot complain too much. Great place to eat and really good food on top!

6.5/10The atmosphere and interior of the place are atmospheric. Food correct. We were disappointed with the appetizers and, additionally, we received the wrong order. The paella was good, but it was supposed to be only with seafood and there were pieces of chicken in it. I will come back to Alicante but I don't know if I will visit this restaurant again.

10/10This restaurant was a great choice. we were a party of 6 golfers and the service food and atmosphere was excellent. Would definitely return again when next in Alicante.
