10/10We had a family evening and it is not the first time . We are back because we are happy with the service , the friendliness of the staff , the professionalism, quality of food and presentation of dishes. I wish that the restaurant continues treating customers in the same way, so that we are back again and again !

10/10The food and wine were exceptional!! The service was spectacular!! And it's a very cool layout where your table is inside the restaurant, but you're right next to a huge open floor-to-ceiling window, so you get the best of both worlds. Decor is very beautiful!

4.5/10Average food and terrible service. It took them 1 hr to get our orders, 40 minutes to bring water to the table in an empty restaurant on Sunday night. Food had nothing special, overpriced. Avoid this place.

9/10We had brunch, the quality and presentation of the food were excellent. The service was a little slow and not focused. Our order was taken with delay and we had to request twice the bill and twice for a fork until they came.

6/10The food were waiting under the warming light for a while, so the brioche of our burger was dry. We had to remind everything to our waiter as well. During the evening, they turned on the airconditioner very often and the place was pretty cold. The food tasted very good, though. The chefs do a great job, but not the service personnel

9/10We were staying at the hotel so this was quite the nice restaurant and bar we made our home base. Its very hip and has a nice energy anytime of the day or night. Drinks are fantastic and the food is solid. Seems to be quite popular with the locals. The real standout is the staff. So friendly, efficient and working together seemlessly.

8/10They are asking 25,- CHF for a half egg, a half grapefruit, a cup chia seeds and a cuppa coffee. Wonderfully presented but I feel ripped off.

5.5/10It took 45 mins to get our food, and there were fewer than 10 tables. The food was great when it arrived. We noticed the kitchen staff were talking a lot and not doing much cooking.... This was the first time we experienced this, as I am a regular. The waitress did apologise BUT my young son's tummy needed to be sorted out..we go two baskets of bread.... We will go back and hope it's better.

5.5/10Pasta was overcooked and tasteless, champagne was warm and they suggested to put an ice cube in it and service was not good. The ambiance was nice and the starter was good.

3.5/10Nice atmosphere but appalling service, (never checks if we want anything, constantly have to ask for water refill, understood nothing of what we were ordering and had to repeat ourselves many times. Food was extremely mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price as well as the overhyped position it holds on this rating site. Never again.

5/10Our burgers were yummy, but the service was not. The server was very inattentive . When we were finished he cleared our plates and never returned to ask if we would like coffee. We gave up and took out our wallets in an effort to pay. He never stopped by our table We had to ask 3 times for the bill. I am local, live in Basel and won't be back. I have given the restaurant many goes (had lunch there yesterday as well). Never again.

6/10We waited 1 hour for our food to be delivered . The fresh asparagus was boiled in water in a plastic bag for 32.- sfr . The French fries were delivered covered in Mayonnaise and the salad dressing tasted like lemon juice.

10/10Great food and ambience. Beware - chateaubriand for 2 was delicious but price on menu looks like 59 for 2 but it is 59 TIMES 2…was not looking to spend almost 120 for a small steak for my daughter and I. Very misleading.

7/10Pleasant place. Food was very good and our service good on a Thursday evening. Went back solo on Friday and service was horrible. Seemed to be 2 waitstaff in the restaurant and one obviously new. I waited at my table for 15 minutes for him to come by. Ordered water and a wine list. Both came and then I waited another 15 minutes and no waiter - could not catch his attention. He was overwhelmed, I was hungry. Paid for my 6 cHF small bottle of water at the bar and left.

10/10We spent 3 days in the hotel and the Bohemia Basel is part of it. Wonderful food, drinks and service. Bar manager Ivan, bartender Sadik and the service staff very knowledgeable and always a warm smile!

10/10We were really impressed by the friendliness of the staff. We felt pampered and well attended to from start to finish. An overall really great experience! The only opportunity for improvement is definitely the kids' food. It was really tasteless. But we already made that remark when we were there and my daughter was a little less irritated when she was offered icecream :-)

10/10Everything was perfect, beautiful building/atmosphere and very good food, the service is very good and the staff friendly. I do feel that everything changes of you don't have a reservation, so I would encourage people to try it but book a table in advance, don't just pop in. I would definitely return here but only with reservation.
