10/10We had a fantastic meal at Bombay Babu – La Tejita. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely superb. We started with the garlic prawns and chicken wings – both full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The prawns were juicy with just the right amount of garlic, and the wings had a lovely spice to them. For the main, we had the chicken sizzler, which arrived at the table sizzling hot and packed with rich, aromatic flavours. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned and beautifully presented. The service was excellent throughout. The team were friendly, helpful and genuinely cared that we were enjoying our experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried, making it a lovely evening all round. Highly recommended for anyone after quality Indian food and great service in a comfortable, welcoming setting. We’ll definitely be back.

10/10I recently dined at Bombay Babu La Tejita, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — full of rich, authentic Indian flavors that transported me straight to the heart of India. Every dish, from the sizzling chicken to the fragrant rice, was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The naan was perfectly fluffy, and the spice levels were just right, with the staff happy to adjust them to your preference. Speaking of the staff — they were outstanding. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. They took time to explain the menu and made great recommendations based on our tastes. It’s clear they take pride in both their service and the food they serve. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner or special occasion. I highly recommend Bombay Babu La Tejita for anyone craving top-quality Indian cuisine in Tenerife. I’ll definitely be returning!

6.5/10Food was nice, not excellent but okay. The Playa Paraiso restaurant makes food better. Service was not good, the first girl didn’t pass on the preference to have the sizzler come out first and then the curries, so the naan was a bit cold by the time we ate them. And the second waitress came across as very unfriendly and just not in the mood to be around anyone or even be there.

8/10We have eaten here many times but last night was disappointing. Firstly I had requested a table next to the window but when we arrived they were all full and we were put in a dark corner. Secondly we wanted to order a saag paneer side dish but were told we could only have it as a main course. The food and our server were great.

10/10We have been coming here regularly for a number of years. The food is very good quality and the staff are pleasant and helpful. You can select the sauce/style of you dish, then select the spiciness then the proteinir you can order one if the house specialities.

7.5/10A little dissapointing on this visit, all the items on our platter starter were dry and overcooked, even the shish kebab had no moisture. Our visit last week was much better, we wll be back, but hopefully its back up to its usual standard.

The food and service were as good as usual ,thats why we are regulars. However the acoustics of the restaurant are such that the noise generated by any groups is so exagerated that the noise levels become almost unbearable and it is not possible to carry out a normal conversation with your guests. Diners should be more considerate and behave with more education and decorum ,they are not at home afterall. It would be nice to think the restauant Owners could do something to mitigate this uncomfortable problem. It is not always as bad as it was last night but we have noticed this problem previously. The food was still great !!

10/10This is the only Indian restaurant I will use on the golf. Always consistently good which I can’t say for any in San blas! Food was great. But a warning their medium curry is I think much hotter than at home. Excellent food & service. 1st class.

6/10Little tandori, good food but nothing special. Everything is at a cost in there which is a shame. We ran out of curry sauce with the meal and got charged 3.50euros extra for a little bit more. The tandoori chicken was great, couldn't fault it, was quite salty for me which was a little difficult to enjoy. The rice was good, the rotti could have been cooked a bit longer as it was quite soggy and undercooked. The place was recommend to me for a good meal, but it's no better than anywhere else for a standard meal. Most of it is a little things on the menu are pricier than most places I have been to locally. Would I return anytime soon....maybe not as the food didn't blow my mind and for the price for value
