Friendly staff, good selection of dishes, the food tasted great. The best chicken bhuna I have eaten anywhere! Service was paced just right. Would definitely recommend.

Sadly this was not our best experience at this restaurant. On the hole the food and service was very good but unfortunately two of the party had onion bhajis which were absolutely disgusting they were very dry and very dark on the outside and we should have sent them back.

I booked on line for a table for 2 people as the app wouldn’t let me change the number of people. We had a two year old with us who sat in a high chair anyway so thought this would be ok. I was totally reprimanded by the women who greeted us at the entrance to the hotel and she went on about booking a bigger table. I accepted that and said thank you. The food then came which all I can describe it as was mediocre. Our two year old who usually loves korma didn’t eat anything and I tasted mine and asked to take it home as I didn’t fancy eating it at the restaurant. When I got back half the meal was missing. My husband ate his but said it was cold and tasteless. We had previously been and it was lovely but not in this visit.

We’ve been coming here every year when we visit Tenerife and never had a problem, however this year the chicken tikka masala tasted like the sauce was from a jar, and was thin. The waiters were quite rude when we asked for clean plates after our starters for our mains, telling us they were meant to be used for both courses, and were reluctant to give us clean ones. A real shame, as we used to love coming here and seeing the regular waiters, who no longer are here.

The food was absolutely stunning when it finally arrived to the table, but the service was absolutely SHOCKING!! So bits were missing, the man was horrible to us… we were in a group of 10 and he refused point blank to split the bill he wa very rude, it was my sons 9th birthday and I asked for a slice of chocolate cake after his meal for us to sing happy birthday, I seemed far to much bother for staff, but agreed after the waiter had to ask about 3 people if it was okay, we waited 15 mins for a me slice of cake, in the end I told them to forget about it and left!! Service was absolutely diabolical!! The restaurant was not even busy!!!

Our first impression was good but this changed very quickly while dining. We ordered a Butter Chicken and a mixed grill, there was not much flavour in the butter chicken and was watery and the meat of the mixed grill was very dry. Afterwards we ordered a dessert, which was also not tasty and for a dessert very bland. we pointed this out to the waiter and instead of discussing it he got angry and walked away without saying a word. When paying, we made all the points but they didn't listen to us seriously and we got the impression that they thought we were whining.

Visit Bombay Blue at least a couple of times when on holiday in Tenerife. It has never disappointed at any time. Love it.
