4/10A médium restaurant. They mixed the plate with the rice in a pan. I prefer separately. The lassi was good and the garlic naan also. We ordered butter chicken and a seafood dish.

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We tried a large variety of dishes: lamb, chicken, prawns, and dal (lentils) in various sauces. We went with a friend who spent several years working in India, where he dined out often and had an Indian cook at home. He thoroughly enjoyed the meal, as did my wife and I. The servers couldn't have been more gracious. They had no problem with spending a couple of hours over conversation while we enjoyed our meal. Our mango lassis were delicious. The Bombay Republic also offers a large variety of alcoholic beverages and cocktails.

8.5/10Customer service was great! Staff members were quite friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didn't have food that was not too spicy, so I had to order chicken naan (even naan was spicy). As I'm allergic to spicy food I was slightly disappointed.

9.5/10Food was delicious. We had the lunch menu which was perfect in the choice of individual items and size of portion. I had the Mango Colada and it was absolutely yummy. The service was very friendly (English and Portuguese speaking). It was a little bit chilly in the restaurant but other than that, lovely. We'll be back!

2/10Review of Restaurante Bombay Republic (Lisbon) I made a reservation via TheFork for a table for two, expecting a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. From the start, service was extremely slow. Our starters and drinks took a long time to arrive, and, shockingly, our main course never arrived at all. Meanwhile, guests who arrived after us were already eating, yet we were left waiting with no explanation from the staff. The restaurant is clearly understaffed, and the team appeared confused and unprofessional. When I requested the bill, they initially tried to charge us for everything we ordered—including the items that never arrived. The waiter was even surprised to learn that we hadn't received our food. Eventually, the manager stepped in, apologized, and offered for us to stay or take the food as a takeaway. While we only paid for what we consumed and the rest was voided, this is simply not the level of service expected from a good restau

8.5/10The restaurant is in a good location, with ample seating space indoors and outdoors on warm days, its clean and well kept throughout the time we have seen it be there, though the greenery could have been natural instead of plastic that would give it a better feel. I recommend the dishes, Bombay vada pav, kheema pav & the lamb biryani that have a unique flavor of India and trigger happy memories of different places in Mumbai, The staff is very friendly and eager to serve, they bring out the dishes with a smile and help you with your choices if you are unsure of what would suit you best. The quantity of the food is very Indian, which means you would end up sharing your meal with others and have ample to go around the table, Note: The restaurant has been open for a short while, with every visit it seems that there is a drop in the quality of the food served, more like the chef who set it up has handed over to some other junior chef and moved out which degrades the quality over time.

3.5/10Disorganized and unprofessional service. After finishing my meal, I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time just to pay. The staff seemed confused about what I had ordered, and despite finally managing to settle the bill, I never received a receipt. The whole process felt disorganized and untrustworthy. Definitely not the experience I expected, and I won’t be returning.

10/10Pleasant and good atmosphere, polite waiters. When the waiters saw that the food was spicy for me, they brought mango lassi and also yogurt to reduce the spiciness, even though I didn’t ask for. I have never met such service and care in any restaurants. I sincerely recommend Bombay Republic to all lovers of Indian cuisine and masala! 💔
