6.5/10I had been to this restaurant in late 2023 and quite liked it. This time, the servers rushed my food: 25 minutes after I arrived I had eaten my first course and received my main. The scampi risotto was subpar: odd taste and rice undercooked. I won’t be going back.

8.5/10Borbonika looks small from the outside, but the actual restaurant is below ground level with a lovely atmosphere. The food was very good, a step above standard Neapolitan fare--think "modern" spins on typical local dishes. However, the price certainly reflects the innovative menu. The portion sizes are also quite small by Neapolitan standards. Therefore, both my husband and I agree that the overall value is quite low. We ordered one antipasto (appetizer) and one primi (pasta course) per person, and we all left feeling a bit hungry (particularly the two men in our group!). Again, the food was quite good and unique--I think this would make a lovely special occasion restaurant to try the full tasting menu.

4/10Food was not good, grit in the clams and rubbery octopus! Had to send the octopus back and ordered the squid which was tasteless and tough! The service was good since we where the only customers they had that evening

10/10Borbonika is a true gem! the quality of the food is superb, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional and they were super prepared about coeliac disease (it was even possible to order the Frittura!) . Absolutely recommended, I will return there every time i'm back in Naples (i am from Naples but I live in the Netherlands)

10/10We came for lunch on a road trip thru Napoli and it was well worth the detour. The service was so great and the food was incredible. They accommodated my gluten-free wife and daughter with extra care. I recommend the Spaghetti alla Nerano!!

10/10This is one of the best restaurants in Naples regardless of price point! Wish we found it sooner. Quiet, calm and air conditioned with very attentive staff. The food was amazing!

9.5/10Wonderful interface of Neapolitan traditional dishes presented with a flair. We each had the Genovese, succulent beef simmered with aromatic onions, warming on a rainy day. Creative desserts enhanced our dining experience. The restaurant is located 'down under' in a restored cavern.

10/10We really enjoyed the meal at this restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. Every dish we had was delicious especially the fried little fish which just melts in your mouth. The ambience is very intimate and secluded if you dine downstairs. There are some very interesting touches such as the industrial light fixtures with gauges and the small seating nooks where my daughters took a little nap before we started eating. This was truly a memorable dining experience and we are so happy we found this restaurant We thoroughly enjoyed all the food especially the desserts. Everything was excellent and well presented and the portions were very large as well. Even if you stay in another part of town it's worth a quick taxi ride over to this area as after dining it's a nice area to walk around. We look forward to coming back again and again.
