9/10A lovely place in the heart of Colmar, by the canal. The staff is very friendly, serving fine food and wines , with style. We can recommend this restaurant for those who are willing to spend ca 150-200 for two persons nice quality dinner.

5.5/10Over-rated. What was good: Grilled octopus and grilled pork neck. Presentation was good. What could have been better: A table in the shade ( they refused to seat us in one despite having a reservation and there being many open tables. The cheese pop-overs were over cooked and dry. The tomato mish-mash salad was uninspired. The potatoes served with the grilled lamb were bland and pasty. Certainly not up to expectations. Service was attentive.

9.5/10Very tasty food with the little extra, appetisers, bread and chocolate! French with at hint of asian touch was very good, the chicken marvellous. Very attentive waiters. Slightly more attentive to french speaking guests, but you know, we were in no hurry.

6.5/10We had a reservation for 9pm. We got to our table around 09:40 pm and after 1 hour after getting there we were served the first course. We paid approx 250 euros to have this experience, but it did not meet our expectations. The foie gras and seabass were very good, but the main course, which for me was the lamb and for my boyfriend the duck beast, not so good. The meat was chewy and it was not supposed to be like that. The plate with the duck breast remained almost intact and we were not asked what was wrong.

6.5/10This restaurant was a good option for dinner but if you are looking for an amazing special taste, this is not going to be your choice. Average food, average taste. Nothing so special. You can eat the same thing for a much lower price

5.5/10I have eaten here at the height of summer and had a wonderful experience. Service, food and ambience was what you would expect from a Michelin rated restaurant. This time, January 6, 2024 19:00 seating, my dinner was good (venison steak, seared scallops) my friend's (sesame encrusted chicken, lobster timbale) was not at all as described and was quite subpar. Service was horrible and has caused me to decide to never return. Shameful staff behavior on part of our primary waitress, though the table clearing staff attempted to apologize. Have eaten in many Michelin restaurants before. This one no longer deserves the rating.

8/10Location in heart of the Christmas market outstanding. Menu features traditional Alsacian dishes, but no salad or soup. The dessert Tiramisu was delicious. Service a bit slow. Would go back again.

10/10The atmosphere was great nearby the canal and the light was great. The food was outstanding, great dishes presented nicely. The desserts were a dream!!!! Value for money great! I would recommend not to miss this little restaurant.

9/10Uncommonly good food by the canal in beautiful Colmar. The staff were busy and working hard; they were a tiny bit slow at times but the food, wine list, value, and overall atmosphere was terrific.

10/10Beautiful location at Petite Venise of Colmar, romantic and calm. Cosy and charming inside. Very good ingresients, fresh and various. High quality of cuisine and very good local wines to match the meal. Special note and thank you to professional and very attentive service that acompanied the pleasant moment.

8.5/10The restaurant itself is comfortable and quiet. The staff was and competent., guiding us through our choices of wines with a propos. The food is good but unexceptional, the sort of quality you get from a wedding caterer, not an inventive chef. Altogether a nice experience but we will not go back

7/10Quality food, however, one waiter was very judgmental and basically said my friend and I didn't belong in this restaurant right after we paid... The vegetarian dish is pretty bland, the rest of the food though was pretty good.

6/10Nice atmosphere , but not like a slow food michelin restaurant. They were in hurry to finish , asked at the beginning for champagne but then did not ask for a second or wine selection. My menu was overall very good. Ravioli at the starter , pork as main and creme brulee. However my wife had a bad experience. Pannocotta as starter was not delicious , similarly the fish as main course was not delicious too , it haf no taste even with the sauce. . Her milfeau as dessert was also not like the original one , not thin and crispy. Therefore she ate all the bread with butter.

10/10A great place, we always like returning here. Excellent value for money. The only annoying thing is that they dont have an english menu. Cant understand why in such a touristic city they choose not to have an english version of the menu.

4/10Very dissapointing experience. It was very cold inside, totally freezing in the bathroom and even the tea I ordered was cold (supposed to be hot, but the water was just warm to cold, absolutely tasteless!). No menu in English, they just asked me to translate it with Google. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

6.5/10Not among the best restaurants in Colmar. Service was pro-forma. No one seemed to care other than moving patrons through the restaurant. Filet was tough and unseasoned. Desert was quite nice however. Would recommend Quai 21 every time.

10/10This our second time around at this restaurant. It is a very nice place to eat. during the summers one can sit outside by the canal and have a pleasant meal. The food is spot on and very very good. Fantastic flavours. Loved it the first time around and was spot on the second time around. We went there with our little one who is 5, her palate is very limited, the chef obliged on both occasions with chicken finger or nuggets, some of the best that I ever had. My little one enjoyed every bit of it. It was an awesome experience both the times we visited. Sure to visit again.

4.5/10It was a disappointment other than the location. I had expected more from the chef's creativity for the food. It was OK but nothing that would make me run back to this place again or highly recommend to friends. Combine it with the the level of service from the staff which started of OK but then quickly went south as apparently we had asked the wrong questions. At min one would think they would monitor your water and wine intake and keep filling up your glass or ask whether you would want more water or wine once finished. Anyway not to be repeated and there are other interesting places in the area with better service.
