9/10Food excellent although pricey but it is a tourist area. The waiting staff were very nice, although who I believe was the head waiter could be warmer he appeared to have end of season blues.

4/10THIS PLACE IS A TOURIST TRAP and would not recommend. Service was poor and servers were very pushy serving additional extra chargeable items like tap water, bread, butter, cheese spread and olives. Menu stated a specific fish and mainly served a big pot of rice with tiny fragments of the mentioned fish for 60 Eur. Unprofessional and poor Management refused to acknowledge customer service.

Dear customer, We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify some important points: The dish you ordered was razor clams rice (arroz de lingueirão), not clams rice (arroz de ameijoas). We kindly explained to you the difference between the two. Razor clams are not served in the shell, as they must be thoroughly cleaned of sand and impurities before being cooked — which is why the presentation may not match what you had in mind. As for our service, we are proud to have been recommended by both local and international guests for over 10 years, thanks to the quality of our cuisine and the attentiveness of our staff. We regret your dissatisfaction, but we cannot accept being called a “tourist trap,” since your review is based on a misunderstanding of the dish you chose. Sincerely, The Management

6.5/10Food was good, not great but good. It is very expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. You also get very limited side dishes with your meal so you need to order extra, we received a few potatoes and a small salad for 3 people. The ribs were pie and chewy. For three small sea bass fish it was over €113! The biggest problem is the service. The staff are NOT helpful during ordering, in fact a little rude and annoying. We were not asked for more drinks during the meal or how our food was. It was a poor experience and for an average meal was very pricey and not that pleasant. I wouldn’t return!

Food was delicious, shared a very fresh red snapper, cooked to perfection, steaks also went down very well, melted in the mouth. Service was very friendly, very attentive and recommendations were spot on. Amazing location, with a sunset view over the docks. Reserve a table, it was packed and they were turning people away!

10/10Fantastic meal in a beautiful setting . Staff were superb as the service was excellent. All 6 of us enjoyed each of our courses in particular the John Dory and Sea bass . Highly recommend this restaurant. Despite the fact it was full to capacity both the quality of food and the timeliness of the service were excellent.

10/10A wonderful visit. Beautiful location and incredible food. We were 2 adults and 2 children and all the meals were delicious. Service was perfect throughout and there's a great atmosphere. The many people who get turned away because they haven't made a reservation proves how good it is. My only disappointment was my seasonal fruit dessert; at €5 I had expected something more interesting than a ring of pineapple on my plate, not even dressed. That aside, the rest of our meal was brilliant so ive reflected that in my rating

10/10Found this pace by chance and what a life of luck ! We have used the Algarve from Faro to Lagos and believe this is the best restaurant we have ever used in our many many times of visiting Portugal. Fresh seafood, wonderful service and such a beautiful setting. Yes you can get cheaper elsewhere but just an amazing dining experience. That good we have booked to go back Saturday!!

5.5/10Beautiful settting. Sunset views. Ferraguddo is a cute little village - much less of that overrun touristy feel that you get in Carvoiero nearby. The restaurant prices here are overall more expensive. You are looking at about $80 euro/kg for fresh fish - served with 4 or 5 boiled potatoes and some lettuce. So difficult to to give high review for me as such simple food at a higher price than we'd seen in other towns in the Algarve.
