+4Every aspect of our dining experience was absolutely amazing! Our server, I believe was Souiziana (sorry if the spelling is incorrect!) was hands down one of the BEST servers we’ve experienced in all our years of fine dining! Her explanation of the dishes was not only insightful, but passionate! We did the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings and the Chef did not disappoint! The fusilli was not only delicious, but surprising! The sauce that was on the dish was so complex and interesting! Our server took time to not only chat with us, but also give “local” insight to everything from sightseeing to describing the differences in the olive oils..and letting us sample different ones! The Maialino Da Latte was definitely both of our favorites! Such an inspired twist on a porchetta!

+8Service was impeccable. The food was well presented. The beef tartar was exquisite. Even though we picked the 5 course prefixed menu (the Experience) there were 4 pre-starters, including delicious rolls, and a pre and post dessert , dessert. This made it too much. Our least favorite course was the pasta with seafood - probably could do without it - as pasta was filling and it was too fishy. Definitely recommend this restaurant as a great experience.

8.5/10First the excellent: Service and presentation of food. Then... The space is nice, but tiny details, like the air vents are dirty and table was rocking a bit. And finally, the quality of food, and preparation were excellent, but for me the menu did not have harmony and a WOW flavor factor. was missing. And they offer two preset menus. Both with 5 courses. We wanted one of each but were told that that was not possible. However, it was possible for one of us to have "the menu" and other to order a la carte. We were dissapointed that we could not taste both menus. Should say so on the website.

3.5/10Fussiness over the top. Rapid fire English difficult to follow. Meat tender but fatty. Food highly salted. Olive oil butter! Drink options universally expensive and as a result, not attractive. Staff tried hard but clearly had been poorly trained. Seating NOT as requested with view of the Ponte Vecchio. Seated at the top of a long stair- concern for anybody with ambulatory challenges. Lovely young maitre de very helpful calling a taxi.

10/10Really amazing, tasty and imaginative food, with excellent ingredients. I had the standard tasting menu with regular wine pairing, the cadence of food delivery was perfect (never too rushed nor too slow), and the sommelier and serving staff were all delightful (with perfect English!). Amazing place for any special occasion.

From the moment we arrived, the staff’s professionalism and warmth stood out. They greeted us with a complimentary glass of champagne and ensured we felt cared for throughout the evening. Our table had a stunning view of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio, adding to the ambiance and making the night even more memorable. The tasting menu was a delightful journey, with each dish showcasing the chef’s creativity and attention to detail. A highlight was the pasta, which exemplified the restaurant’s innovative approach to fine dining. The staff surprised my wife with a beautifully plated dessert, complete with a personalized birthday message, adding a thoughtful touch to the celebration. Borgo San Jacopo made my wife’s birthday unforgettable, with impeccable service, outstanding food, and an amazing view.

+4Everything that they brought out prior to the fish was absolutely amazing! It made me excited for the next dish to come until I got to the fish and suckling pig. The Turbot was lacking seasoning even with the sauce. The suckling pig was good but left me wanting to eat the crispy skin but I couldn’t because it couldn’t even be cut. The service and the sommelier was amazing! I would suggest doing a bunch of the appetizers as that is what impressed me the most. Every bite was packet with taste.

10/10Booked this for our engagement dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff were incredibly knowledgeable and explained each drink and dish in depth. We had the spring tasting menu but didn't fancy the wine pairing so the sommelier was able to recommend a fantastic bottle of Chardonnay which we enjoyed a lot. The food was exceptional and each course was perfectly constructed and balanced. Would highly recommend.

+5This was one of the best meals I ever had. They accommodated my allergies and made my plate match my partner’s so I would not feel left out. The food was beyond perfect. The servers were extraordinary! The never missed anything. They made a point to make the night a perfect evening! The courses just kept coming and all the wines that were matched to the courses were amazing. I loved it! The birthday cake surprise was wonderful!

+4For a cosmopolitan visitor in Florence, it can be difficult to find anything to eat, apart from pizza, pasta, and Florentine steak. This restaurant was a welcome relief; elegant, modern, creative, and most importantly proud of what its team was creating. There were a few miraculous bites and many extraordinary ones. The service could not have been more informative or attentive. Far and away our best culinary experience in Florence.

5/10We were seating in an upstairs area which had very little decor and no ambiance. It felt more like a private function space and lacked the river view of the main floor. Food and platings were attractive and interesting but not terribly delicious. Service was decent but not top notch and sommelier was not very helpful - it seemed that he did not want to waste time with the upstairs tables and tried to quickly sell us on a bottle before even knowing what we had ordered or type of wine we were looking for.

6/10We were seated at an upstairs table which I would not recommend. If the try to put you up there, resist. The only other party upstairs was large group of about 8 or 9. The men at the table got up after every course to go out and smoke. Very distracting and not what I expect from a Michelin 1 star establishment. Food was not hot. The pasta course and the main were both presented lukewarm. Not cold but certainly not hot. Went down to the hotel to use the toilet and it was occupied, unavailable as there is only one men's WC for the entire restaurant and hotel lobby. Asked the bellman if there was another and he said no. Disappointed.

9/10I cannot say enough about the attentive staff. Just Masterclass throughout our dining experience. The food presentation was exquisite. We received a lot of extra 'surprises' as well. Just a bit on the pricier side but if it's for a worthy night out, definitely worth it.

10/10Simply beautiful experience. Asked for and received one of the two tables out on the terrace around 9pm. Spectacular views of Ponte Vecchio and Arno river. Service was attentive and professional. Sommelier recommended a lovely Brunello which was perfect for our tasting menu. Got the Experience Tasting Menu which was well-curated with great ingredients and all delicious. They also provided a lot of amuse bouches and pre-meal tasters which was a welcomed touch. Overall would recommend this as a special occasion spot for foodies, couples, or any special occasion.
