2/10Food was pretty terrible. The oil where they fry their focaccia was a bit rancid. It's definitely a bar, not sure why they advertise it on Fork.

10/10I really enjoy this cosy intimate causal restaurant/bar. Service was great , friendly , attentive but not overdone. I got the “fork discount “ so value was excellent. I would happily pay regular price for the meal. Unlike some of the reviews, food came at good speed. No issue.

2/10Worst dinner ever. We came here because my boyfriend went here a month ago and loved it, but this time We arrived at the restaurant and the service was very very slow until we finally ordered the food. It took 1h for the waiter to tell us that 2 of the ordered plates were not available anymore, giving us suggestions similar to the previous plates. None of the plates was as described, the raviolis and potatoes were supposed to come with truffle and it wasn’t there, we ordered an ossobuco with flat rice and it came with baked potatoes, then when we asked for the rice they told us “sorry, I will bring you the rice in a moment”, the rice arrived 20 minutes later and it was burnt. They realized that they were having problems, since many other costumers were also frustrated and brought us 2 additional drinks on our last plate. At the end the bill came without the discount because they cancelled our reservation while we were having dinner. Very disappointing.

9.5/10It was a very quiet evening at the restaurant. We had excellent service and wine selections by the glass were very good. Food was surprisingly good for a place that had such few dinners. Good value!

9.5/10Excellent food and warm service from Bottini’s charismatic owner and other employees. Authentic Lombardy cuisine, great flavors, with a home-cooked feel. Cocktails were expertly made. Would absolutely go again.

+1Excellent food and warm service. It's a gem tucked away at the very end of Corso di Porta Ticinese. It's hard to find and easy to miss, but dont give up. Persevere, and you will be rewarded with excellent food.
