The restaurant and staffs are really good. They made fresh and typical local foods. I tried menu lyonnaise and that’s amazing. Really good restaurant and ambience.

The food was absolutely delicious... best salade Lyonnaise I've had. Service was quick and friendly. Will absolutely return.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere, but my tête de veau main course lacked any flavour and was 80% fat. My wife’s quenelle de brochet was edible but bland. The staff were apologetic but it wasn’t an enjoyable experience.

we were on March 31th. for Dinner there and very disappointed at the end. The bread was from the previous day and tasted like nothing. My beef meal was so over cooked , over salted and dry like a tree, so that I eat almost nothing but some of the vegitables. In general this restaurant used low quality and not fresh meat and bread for cooking. Almost all the guests were tourists. This reataurant has nothing to do with great French cooking culture, but a shame on it. Do not go there!

The service was attentive but not overbearing, and friendly. The food, however, was overly rich, and extremely heavy. The choices were limited. I would not recommend it.

+1The sweet waiter Tom reassured us after arriving late and welcomed us in a warm way, his recommendation was on spot. Started with the chicken liver which was too tempting and delicious to take picture of it before we dig it. That was Tom’s recommendation. The beef in red wine was perfectly cooked maybe needed a bit of salt and pepper but it was really tasty. The veal is a heavy meal, it’s for the brave hearted eater! So rich and tasty. The desert surprised us with the richness in flavor , it’s just perfectly sweet.

The food was very average. Good to eat, but not to enjoy or be fascinated. Nice menu, all classics in it. Had tete de veau for main, and it was barely salted. Crispy, fat, succulent, but lacking taste. Nice service though

Had the « Travers de porc de l’Aveyron » and it was delicious. Tender, sweet and balanced. Paired with a glass of red Bourgone for a quite pleasant meal. The restaurant is run by an enthusiatic team, very courteous and attentive.

The appetizer was not tasty. The main course tripe sausage was pungent beyond eatable. The veal head was very greasy and jelly like.

It is a simple, local restaurant serving traditional French food. The dishes appear simple, but they taste very good. I tried the best adouillette in this restaurant. Just be aware that their selection of desserts is rather small (and 7 euros for just ice-cream is a bit pricy). But, again, you are in Lyon, so for the dessert, you can go elsewhere.

Recommended by trip advisor and fork and lived up to all the feedback. Friendly service, excellent food & drink at reasonable prices and a very relaxing ambience of the bouchon. Would definitely go back again!

The staff were excellent and the food was amazing. The evening was spoiled for us by a noisy group of young people. They were loud and obtrusive in such a small space. There is little the staff can do about this. Perhaps separate large groups from couples.
