I live in Florence and try to visit new restaurants whenever possible. I went here mainly to try it out. The food was not bad in terms of flavor; however, the steak was served very cold. The bread served at the beginning was also not the typical Florentine bread. The side dishes I ordered were cold as well, and the mashed potatoes were both cold and lacking salt. The waiter was attentive, but unfortunately this was the most disappointing steakhouse experience I’ve had in Florence in the past two years.

The food is very good. Some of the best beef we have had in Italy! But the manager is a big issue at this restaurant. We ordered the main and 2 sides. The server suggested their special fried mushrooms but we said no. First she brought one wrong side and then replaced it correctly. Then she brought the mushrooms and I said we didn’t order them. 5 minutes later the manager came to the table and told me in a very loud voice that we had ordered them and they were going to waste and we must pay for them. I was intimidated and agreed to pay for them. But he was rude and it was embarrassing! The people at the table next to us waited 30 min for their check and finally just went upstairs to pay and he was loud and rude to them too, saying they had to wait at the table for the check. The food was great but I would never go back!
