The steaks are served perfectly. Only American idiots expecting medium or well done leave negative reviews. Go back to your Olive Garden.

My order of 1.2 kg Fiorentine steak was not cooked properly, the meat was cold inside, I asked for it to be cooked again but it was still not ok, it was still cold inside.

We can’t fault a thing. Warm greeting, booking made in Australia without an issue and a complimentary champagne as we settled. The food was beautiful. Would recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Italian dining experience near the old town but not with the typical tourist feel. Superb.

The chianina IGP T-bone was cooked just right , and we ordered a full bottle of chantini classical and it was just eur 30 , very reasonable price , and very warm services, will return if i am in Florence again!

The food was good as well as the matching service. The ambiance was nice but could vary quite a bit as this restaurant has multiple seating areas. Everything here happened as expected.

We ordered The Grand Grill (for two people) and the Steak was without sea salt and not cooked correctly. We went there with high expectations after reading all reviews but it disappointed us.

I've been here before and the experience is nice, but I'm a little off-put by what they are selling as "costata" what I received was the "controfiletto", not the ribeye which is another steak further up the cow. it was good, but not as good since I was expecting a ribeye

Lovely restaurant. We came a few years ago, had a great experience, so when we were back in Florence, booked again. Table was ready upon arrival. Service was excellent and food was all delicious. The pizza cippolata is very good and all our fillet steaks cooked to perfection. The discount was automatically deducted 👌🏼

The service (the server in particular) was excellent! The seating in the open air was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious! We went twice during our brief stay in Florence, and all was terrific both visits. 😊

The restaurant looked really promising and had great reviews. We had seen the small entrance passing by and noticed the Florentine steak hanging on display in the cooler. The service was good as was the wine, etc. We were given a choice of French or Italian steak Florentine style and we chose the Italian. The waitress brought the steak out to show us before it was cooked and we agreed we were happy with the size, etc. The cooked steak was cooked to the recommended medium. It was actually quite chewy and not as good as we had experienced in Montepulciano a couple of nights earlier. I couldn't fault anything else regarding the restaurant, but we were disappointed with the Florentine steak.

We ate here twice. Very enjoyable with food very tasty. Service was efficient. They have a great pizza oven and they serve delicious pizzas. Also had a roast chicken with herbs and the pork ribs. Well worth a visit.

Found this little restaurant a few years back and would not visit Florence without having a meal here. Food is always excellent and plentiful, service is spot on and it’s VERY reasonably priced for such a popular tourist destination. Don’t let the facade fool you. Once past the reception it opens up into lots of different eating areas including alfresco dining, and it’s not overcrowded with tables! Make sure you reserve a table as it can get booked out. Guarantee, you won’t walk away hungry.

We had a wonderful evening dinner here. Our server, Dahlia, was so attentive and was able to make great recommendations. She was also very accommodating to our request with our order. Our children were given some colouring pens and paper which kept them happy and entertained. We were treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We could not have been more happy with our experience! Thank you!

The food was absolutely amazing, you have to get the filet with the Vin Santo sauce with pistachios. Med rare was cooked to perfection! Also the wine selection is very nice.

The staff are cheerful and welcoming! They are helpful too. They tried to explain the difference of each kind of beef. We had a happy and experienced night of Florence’s steak!!

Came here on the recommendation of our B&B host, Marco. I usually have more to say but this place was absolutely fabulous. Been to a lot of steakhouses, eaten some really expensive steaks, NEVER has a raw cut of meat been brought to the table for our approval before cooking. Until now. Incredible food, great staff, just absolutely one of the best dining experiences of my life. Could not recommend it more.

This restaurant is a real surprise. It looks very small from the front but it goes back a long way from the road. It has a great wine and food selection. The portions were of a great size and the meat was cooked to perfection. Great find and especially good for Bistecca a La Fiorentina
