I already knew and loved Crudo7, so when I found out that Chez Calvin was run by the same owner, I didn’t hesitate for a second. And it definitely lived up to expectations! From the starters to the desserts, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The quality of the food was exactly what I hoped for—fresh, flavorful, and creative. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, creating a relaxed yet attentive atmosphere. We sat outside, which was absolutely perfect on a warm summer day—such a lovely setting. Highly recommended for both the food and the overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great food, even better than we had anticipated, superb service with a sense of humour without being « all over us », in a great setting with swinging music yet not too loud so that conversations are smooth. A beautiful address !!

The sole meuniere was memorable, staff super friendly and professional, and there was a cool atmosphere. Be careful which table you choose depending on how much noise you want. If you’re at the noisy part it can be hard to hear each other talk.

Way overpriced and very small portions. Food was disappointing too - was hoping for ottolenghi and got standard wine bar tapas. Difficult to have a conversation with noise le les and music. Will not return.

Recently opened, this restaurant cum bar offers insight into eastern mefiterrean cuisine. Nice selection around vegetables, fishes and meat - we sampled most dishes and found some gems (lamb kebab, bean salad, beetroots), but also less interesting dishes. Desserts were a bit disappointing and quite pricey. Nice selection of cocktails and good wine list. Noise level gets higher as the evening progresses and ventilation of the kitchen functions erratically, so expect some smokey smell - i am sure that this will be fixed over time.

Excellent service and the food was absolutely amazing. North Miznon and Chez Calvin have established an amazing partnership. The chef is incredibly talented and very kind, thank you again.

Had dinner here Friday, always a nice experience. Very nice bar and very loud music. We were seated in the back area so despite the loudness, could still have a conversation. Food is good with an extensive wine list. Pricey but this seems to be the new norm with many fancy restaurants in the area.

Ambiance was good. But food was not as good. It was relatively simple and service of the dishes were also not as good. Had Thai wok with crevettes ( one crevette) , very simple and nothing exceptional. meat was served not hot enough. Food do not aligh with the general name and image.

Delicious food with a lovely ambience and excellent drinks in a lovely older building in eaux vives. We had delicious slipper lobster and a great peach bellini. The manager was especially attentive to get us out in time for the theatre. Also a nice bar hangout. A little pricey but, hey it’s Switzerland. Highly recommended.

A classy atmosphere with good food and service. High volume of music makes it difficult to have a chat. Food prices are somehow reasonable but the wine list is overpriced with a very basic starting from CHF65 and only a few, then three to four digits wines...

A wonderful evening! The music was a little bit loud (we are used to place like this as we go often to saint tropez and places like the cafe there). Maybe a few décibels down so we could here each other talking. Food was absolutely wonderful

The food was great and the place is amazing. But it was too hot inside, that was the only negative point. Will definitely be back and ask for an outside table or at the bar.

Bad management of tables, overpriced menu, bad service, unfriendly staff. We had a reservation at 8 and we struggled to get a table. They seemed to give priority to some posh clients over others. Very superficial I don’t recommend it.

We had a reservation at 8pm, didn't get seated until 8:45pm. The staff were super friendly and helpful and offered us complimentary apero drinks to make up for the long wait time for the table - however when the final bill came they seemed to include the charge for tehe complimentary drinks. Overall really high quality food and drinks, really friendly staff who are sharp and very polite - but really bad management of the volumes of tables. Seems like maybe they were just overbooked.

Great ambiance for a birthday party! This is a fun party to come to celebrate. I would advice to have fewer tables though as during covid 19 time we may need to be extra careful. There was a lot of people... But lovely waiters, lovely ambiance!

From the moment we sat to the moment we got our bill passed 26 minutes. Needless to say that it was not a relaxing enjoyable dinner. Waiters run around you giving a feeling of rush, several hot food plates come all in one, so you better eat it fast to avoid them to get cold. Food quality was also not as expected. Most tapas we ordered were not up to the most basic street cafe in Spain. E.g. Pan con tomate was a sort of oven-baked bread pizza, croquetas de jamon were too creamy, croquetas de bacalao were not tasting like codfish, etc. Prices are also out of range for the type and quality of food/service. It's a pity because the ambiance is actually nice.

The service was great! Very nice and festive ambiance, nice music, good drinks! Food was delicious but it comes in small portions. Overall, great experience!

Nice setting with good service however food very disappointing eg Pan con tomates, tortilla and croquetta - avoid these. If you want to go there go for their Grilled pulpe and gambas with garlic. Tasty. Do not take their Sangria! Not home made, coming from a bottle and charged CHF 48.-- My review overall rate is for the service and setting and not foe the food. You can eat better Spanish food elsewhere in Geneva.
